TheBalm Hot Ticket Nail Polish Swatches and Reviews

Today’s Blogger Mail contained a wonderful surprise!  TheBalm Hot Ticket Nail Polish!  I got 2 polishes and a lipstain from TheBalm, but tonight I will be reviewing and swatching their Hot Ticket Nail Polish, and once I’ve worn the lip/cheek stain a couple times I will be doing a review on that baby as well!

The polishes I received are A Case of the Blues and Lilac Any Sense.  TheBalm has a wonderful nail polish selection and it was hard to narrow it down to just two, but I am so happy with my decision!

Before I show any swatches, I really want to say that this polish went on amazingly well.  I’m still a little in awe.  The brush fanned out around my nail and the polish just glided on like a dream!  These are not sheer polishes!  Both of the ones that I am reviewing reached almost full opacity with the first coat and the second one perfected it.  Dry time was good on both as well, around 3-4 minutes per coat.  I topped both off with Poshe Fast Dry Top Coat.  Without the top coat they dry semi glossy.

A Case of the Blues is a gorgeous deep blue with the slightest hint of violet shimmer.  The shimmer is more obvious in the bottle than on the nail, but it isn’t completely lost on the nail!   In light you can see slight flashes of the shimmer, which draws some attention to the color without being overpowering.  A Case of the Blues is outstanding and I cannot say I have a blue like it in my collection.  Click on the picture for a closer look and a peek at the faint shimmer!

Lilac Any Sense is darker on the nail than I expected it to be, but not in a bad way.  As I’ve said in other posts, I love purple in every sense of the shade!  Lilac Any Sense is a deeper toned lilac.  Perfect addition to any purple polish lover’s stash, heck to any nail polish lover’s stash!!  There is no shimmer to Lilac Any Sense – and quite honestly it doesn’t need it.  This is a great year round polish.

Overall, these polishes are both keepers and I am excited to try out more shades from their collection.  Application was flawless, the formula was perfect and the colors are divine!  I’m currently eyeing Hella Yella, I’ll Pink to That and Oh My Goth.  I’m sure I’ll be buying those in the next month – so watch for my post reviewing them!

If you have a minute, you really need to check out the names of TheBalms Hot Ticket Nail Polish!  I cracked a smile on a LOT of them – especially their Quick Dry Coat called “Time for a Quicky”.  I also love their pinup girl displayed on the bottles!

TheBalm Hot Ticket Nail Polish can be found on TheBalm.com (seriously take a look at the names of their polishes! ) and retail at $10.00 for a .5 fl oz bottle.

Make sure you keep an eye out for my next TheBalm blog post featuring Stainiac Lip and Cheek Stain!

Wow! A Case of the Blues is beautiful! I had to click the picture and enlarge it to get the full effect of how amazing it really was. The shimmer was amazing.

I will have to really check this out as I have not heard of these.

anyone purchased with them before? Just wondering about the shipping and if they do any promotions

I never have! I’ve seen their brand in Sephora, but I can’t see the nail polish on Sephora.com.

I went to TheBalm.com and did a mock order and Free USPS domestic shipping was available (I only put 1 polish in my bag!)

A Case of the Blues is gorgeous! Where would one purchase these beauties?

You can order them on TheBalm.com but outside of there I’m not sure. Sephora carries THeBalm Cosmetics, but I’ve never seen the nail polish line there
