I have some gorgeous Spring Pastels to show you tonight from The Nail Junkie!  I have been eyeing some of Aleta’s creations and when I was asked to review I was thrilled!  I requested the pastels to review because the colors looked so amazing in the bottles!  They did NOT disappoint!

3 of these pastels were from the 2012 Spring collection and 3 are brand new for the 2013 Spring Collection!

Take a look!

Here are the 3 pastels from last year!

Rose:

Rose

Rose is a gorgeous pink pastel with subtle blue shimmer throughout.  One of my favorites of the 6!  I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for this photo.

Daffodil:

Daffodil

Daffodil is a beautiful pastel yellow with subtle silver shimmer.  What I loved about Daffodil was that it is pastel, but it’s bright at the same time!  2 coats and a glossy top coat completed this mani.

Violet:

Violet

You all know this was a favorite as well!  Violet is a pastel violet with silver shimmer.  Gorgeous.  2 coats and a top coat were used.

And now for the NEW 2013 Spring Pastels!

Gardenia:

Gardenia

Gardenia is a beautiful shimmery white which is opaque in just 2 coats!

Bluebonnet:

Blue Bonnet

Bluebonnet is another favorite!  This is a gorgeous cornflower blue pastel with silver shimmer.  I only needed 2 coats for this and a glossy top coat!

Green Goddess:

Green Goddess

I saved my absolute favorite for last!  GREEN GODDESS!  This is an amazing green pastel with silver shimmer.  This is a unique color to my collection and it is fabulous!  I only needed 2 coats and a glossy top coat for this one!

I am in LOVE with these 6 colors!  All of them are wearable for me, coverage was great, pigmentation was gorgeous and I loved the shimmer in all 6!

All of these dry down to an almost matte like finish (I used a glossy top coat for all of these photos) but they look fabulous in either finish!

You can find all 6 of these beauties in The Nail Junkie’s Etsy Shop for $10.00 each!

Also make sure you check out The Nail Junkie’s Facebook page for new collections as well as her own blog posts!  The creator, Aleta, is an absolute sweetheart and would be happy to answer any questions you might have!

Hope you enjoyed these swatches as much as I did!
