I’m constantly looking for new body scrubs, especially when Fall and Winter roll around and my skin starts to feel incredibly dry. I was excited to give Teadora Nourishing Body Polish a try since I had heard so many great things about the brand.
Teadora’s website says: Teadora’s unique blend of sustainable Brazilian ingredients removes dead skin, minimizes ingrown hair, smoothes and brightens skin. Rainforest at Dawn is a unique, 100% natural scent: woodsy and floral, it will awaken your senses for the day ahead. It’s like waking up in the rainforest.
I received the scent Rainforest At Dawn, and if you like the earthy, woody scent – then this is perfect for you. I personally don’t mind it, but it isn’t my favorite. I can see my boyfriend using this a little more as I do prefer slightly more feminine scents. That’s all personal preference, BUT if the product performs well, I’ll use it regardless! Scent isn’t usually a deal breaker for me (as long as it doesn’t linger).
So how did it perform? Really well! My skin has definitely been feeling smoother and softer since using this body polish.
When I first squeezed a little of the body polish out from the tube, it seemed like it was going to be a medium to coarse scrub but once I used it I found that it was definitely a fine scrub. When I applied it, it almost felt like there was barely any scrubbing going on at all, so I thought “My shower is going to smell earthy for nothing…” but when I got out, I was incredibly impressed at how smooth I felt. I only used a little as well, and a little seems to go a long way.
What I did find was that I was reaching for it more to use on my hands though. My hands have been so incredibly soft since using it.
Would I recommend Teadora Rainforest At Dawn Nourishing Body Polish? Yes I would. Next time I think I will be trying out the Rainforest At Dusk scent though. Like I said, I don’t mind earthy and woody, but it isn’t my preference.
