Recently I had the opportunity to try out and review Sunsella Bento Style Buddy Box. I know, this is a beauty blog but I’m a mom first and foremost, so I like these types of products too.
I received my 4 pack of Sunsella Buddy Boxes which has 4 colorful lids and a clear plastic container which is divided into 3 compartments.
My main reason for wanting something like these… we go through entirely too many zip lock bags for my sons lunches. ENTIRELY too many. The clear container portion is large enough to store a sandwich and 2 sides (like fruit, nuts, veggies, etc).
The Buddy Box is not leakproof, but they are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. My sons cafeteria has a microwave to heat food up in, but he rarely gets the chance to use it. The Sunsella Buddy Box is perfect for sending Jacob to school with leftovers he loved and wants more of! Since receiving these, Jacob has been able to go to school with his Buddy Box and heat up spaghetti, macaroni & cheese, stuffed chicken dishes and a few more things. Plus we can add a little Parmesan cheese or other “toppings” Jacob can add to jazz up his lunches. He LOVES it! Gives him more options than just sandwiches all week.
These high quality lunch boxes are BPA-free, phthalate and lead free. They have been independently tested to ensure they meet strict FDA standards. The lids snaps on securely but are not leak-proof. The lids come in four bright colors: red, orange, green, and blue.

While I love using them for Jacob at school, I have also used them for work. We aren’t wasting a ton of ziploc bags anymore and Jacob can have his hot lunches (and we can use up leftovers!)
