It’s almost time for another Stardust Collaboration! This time for August 2020 and the theme is Weather!
This month Wildflower Lacquer is joining Ethereal Lacquer and Kathleen & Co, and Taylor of Wildflower Lacquer selected Weather as the inspiration!
This trio will be available this Friday starting at 11am EST and will be available until the 31st at midnight so be ready for that! Links and information will be at the bottom of this post.
If you need a little refresher – Stardust is all about the shimmer and multichrome and it’s a box run by Ethereal Lacquer and Kathleen & Co, and for the last couple months they have invited a guest maker to join in the fun!
Now let’s take a look!
Ethereal Lacquer | Frost
Frost is a baby blue crelly base with red to gold shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Polish was a touch on the thick side, but wasn’t too difficult to work with.
Kathleen & Co | Stormy Skies
Stormy Skies is a greyed out denim blue creme base with blue to violet shimmer mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Wildflower Lacquer | Voltage
Voltage is a dusty purple crelly base loaded with pink to magenta to violet to gold to green large particle shimmer so it has that almost micro fleck appearance. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
On first application it will be fairly sheer, but it does build up nicely and the intense shimmer gives the illusion of opacity.

I feel like each maker hit their inspiration perfectly with this lineup. If I didn’t know names and was just told “the inspiration is weather” I could probably point at each one and give a generalized idea of what inspiration each worked off of. It’s perfection.
