February 2021 | Bridgerton

What a week! We’re closer to closing on our new home here in Massachusetts and it’s exciting! Luckily we’re done with the more stressful stuff and we’re just in the finalization stages. But by early April we will be in a new (to us) 3 bed/2bath home with a finished basement (our master suite) with a pool and BBQ cave.

Anyways, we’re here to look at the Stardust Collaboration February 2021 with a Bridgerton theme!

This trio of shades releases today… shortly actually. 10am CST!

So some things have changed since I last reviewed for Stardust. Kathleen & Co is still here, but she’s now rocking this little monthly box with Rachel of Rogue Lacquer! We do have a guest maker this month and it’s Alexa from Painted Polish, and I think we all know who she is, and we’re very excited to see Painted Polish here!

As usual, the guest maker selects the theme and Painted Polish went with Bridgerton. I did binge this series when it came out and I think I started it late on Friday night and finished it the next day. The costumes within the series were beautifully done and those vibrant colors are what inspired this month’s box.

Ready to take a look? All info will be at the bottom of this post!

Kathleen & Co | Den of Iniquity

Den of Iniquity is a berry toned violet crelly base with red to gold aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Final photo shows it with matte top coat.

This shade is a smidge darker in person. The lighting I use really brightened it up, but it is a little more on the vampy side without being an actual vampy shade.

The formula is crelly, but it leans more into the creme category

Painted Polish | Dancing with the Duke

Dancing with the Duke is a blurple crelly base loaded with glowing pink shimmer and holographic microflecks and glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Final photo shows it with matte top coat.

This shade leans more purple on me, but in some lighting it leaned more into a medium cornflower blue type shade. Quite the chameleon.

Rogue Lacquer | Diamond of the First Water

Diamond of the First Water is a pale dove grey crelly based linear holographic with white shimmer, and scattered holo glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Final photo shows it with matte top coat.

This one freaked my camera out and I’m not entirely sure why. I think with the lighting – the twinkling gave my camera too much to focus on.
