Spatty Daddy Beauty Tool Review

by Lisa Heath

Who watches ABC’s Shark Tank?  I know my boyfriend and I do!  Every once in awhile we see an item that I get excited about because I can and would use it!  Today’s post features one of those products!

Spatty Daddy package

Spatty Daddy is a tool that basically looks like a mini version of a silicon spatula.  There is the Spatty which is small, and the Spatty Daddy which has a longer handle and a little larger end piece.  The Spatty Daddy can be used with either food/condiments or with beauty products, but I wanted this purely for my shampoos and conditioners!

Spatty Daddy

The Spatty Daddy is a 12 inch tool with a rubber “spatula” head perfect for scraping out larger bottles.  This is ideal for shampoos, conditioners, lotions and like products.  For smaller containers, this works well, but if the opening is small – the Spatty would be a much better option!

I use DermOrganic Cleansing Shampoo in a pump bottle, and it always gets to a certain point that it just won’t pump product out anymore, and I’m at that point with my current bottle, so I used the Spatty Daddy to scrape it all out and I got over 1/4 cup of my coveted shampoo out of the bottle within 2 minutes.  It was amazing!

Here is a closeup of the end you scrape product out with.  It’s on the stiffer side, but I prefer that because it reaches to the bottom of larger bottles and doesn’t flip flop all over and skip over product.  I am in LOVE and will be grabbing the smaller Spatty soon!

I went to work scraping out lotion bottles as well that I was having to pound on in order to get the last drops out of – the Spatty Daddy is a time saver and with the product I’m able to get out will DEFINITELY pay for itself with just a few uses!

Another great feature… it’s Dishwasher safe, so I can use it, wipe it off and throw it in the dishwasher.  I will probably pick up both a Spatty and Spatty Daddy extra so that we can have a dedicated Spatty Daddy for food uses (don’t really want my shampoo Spatty Daddy dipping into my mayonnaise jar too.. so this warrants buying another one!)

Price: $6.99 for the Spatty Daddy – $5.99 for the Spatty – or buy both for $10.99

Have you tried the Spatty or Spatty Daddy?  If not, you need to grab one!  It’s awful to know you are throwing away SO MUCH product because you just can’t get to the bottom of the container!

disclaimer

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

My husband is a cheapskate. He adds a little water to shampoo and conditioner bottles and shakes them to make sure he gets every drop out. If you don’t want to dilute your shampoo, etc like he does, he also has other tricks for getting the last drops out of shampoo, condiment plastic bottles. Leave them up side down to help get the material out. When he gets near the very end, he cuts the plastic bottle in half with a knife and scoops out the rest. He would never spend money on such a gadget.

I would rather spend a little money on a gadget instead of diluting product or cutting bottles up! And for lotions, you can’t just add water or it would be a mess lol

I have been trying to find these since I watched the Shark Tank episode. Great idea! There’s always a lot of product in the bottom of the bottle that the pump straw won’t reach, hate throwing that expensive stuff in the trash!

Exactly! And most of my shampoos and lotions and such are pump bottles, hard to tip upside down and be effective!

Ohh I didn’t even think of that! Using the normal Spatty just to remove product so I don’t get it under my nails! The price is good so I may be picking up more than I planned for different purposes!

Love, love, love products like this! So much product is wasted in most packaging–this is fab and cheap!

Yes! I’d rather spend 6 or 7 dollars on something that will scrape out almost $10-20 dollars of product!

I don’t have the Spatty Daddy but I have similar spoons and they are so valuable when you use expensive products that you don’t want to waste.

They really are worth the money when you consider how much product you save with them!
