Sugar Cube is your basic, classic white creme.  I have this shade in my collection already and love it.  I used 2 coats for these photos.

Save Me A Spot

Save Me A Spot

Save Me A Spot really made me work a bit.  I used 2 dabbed on coats over a base of Sugar Cube.  I really like the dot glitters in red, white and blue, but the dots kept slipping off the brush and I only was able to grab 3 or 4 at a time, if that.  I also had slight bubbling, but that could be from my dabbing efforts.

Grand Finale

Grand Finale

Grand Finale is a mix of blue, red and silver holographic long bar glitters.  I’m not a fan of bar glitter, but I do think its appropriate for the name.  Application was perfection on it.  I used 1 coat over Sugar Cube.

Starred & Stripped

Starred and Striped

Starred & Striped is a mix of red and white micro bar glitters with blue stars.  I used 1 coat over Blue Ribbon.

Overview

Overall I think these are excellent patriotic shades.  I did have some application issues with Save Me A Spot, so if you pick that one up, be prepared for some dabbing to get dots out.  I’m a dot glitter lover though, so it was worth the work for me.

Price: $3.98 Each

Where To Buy: Walmart

What did you think?  I do have some awesome nail art tools to show you soon as well!  So stay tuned.

I like them all except the bar glitters! Have you tried painting the dot glitter onto a cosmetic sponge, letting the sponge absorb some of the base, and then sponging the dots onto the nail? It works great to get a lot of glitter from these troublesome formulas!

Wow such a pretty assortment of colors and glitters/topcoats. And very patriotic too.
