Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect ColorCare Swatches and Review

This breakthrough nail color hides ridges and imperfections with a breathable porcelain-smooth finish. Enhanced with ginseng, camelia oil and lotus to promote stronger, healthier nails.

Sally Hansen has a fairly new line out called Smooth and Perfect ColorCare nail lacquer.  If you are like me and frequent Walgreens and other drugstores, I have no doubt that you have seen these!  Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect ColorCare currently has 8 nail colors in their range, all of which are either nudes or pastels (pale pastels not bright ones!).  Today I have 2 of the 8 to show you!

Sorbet is up first!

Such a gorgeous pale peach color!  There is a slight glowy pearl finish to it as well which really made this color amazing for me.  I am not one for nudes, they usually look horrible on me… I can deal with this one though!  I used 2 coats for Sorbet and I did not use a top coat for these pictures.  I wanted everyone to see what a nice glossy finish I got!  Now some sunshine shots of Sorbet!

One more

Ok so maybe I was mesmerized by the fact that I got starburst reflections in all 4 nails, but if you really look at the nails, you can see the glowy, pearly goodness that makes me LOVE this color!

The second color I got was Dune.

Here is a shot of Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect Dune in the shade.  Much like Sorbet, I used 2 coats and no top coat.  Dune is a beautiful nude for me and has the same pearly effect that Sorbet has.  I really loved this one too, but Sorbet got top ranking on this post!

Sunlight shot:

In the sunlight this looks so soft and pretty.  A nice, comfortable color to have in any collection.

Just seeing these two colors, I am pleasantly surprised at how much I love this line of polish.  It went on smooth and, well.. perfect!  I used 2 coats in each photo, no top coat was needed and it evened out beautifully.  The formula wasn’t thick, nor was it watery (I used no cleanup for these either!)  Each bottle has a wide brush so 2 strokes over the nail covered the whole nail.  Absolute perfection!  I know I was planning another Walgreens trip in the next week, so I will be sure to check out Whisper (lavender), Air (pale blue) and Sea (pale green).  With all of the bright pastels this season, I think it would be nice to see the softer side of pastels!

Make sure you visit Sally Hansen on Facebook as well as on their website!

Sally Hansen Smooth and Perfect ColorCare line retails for $5.99 at most places Sally Hansen is sold (Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, etc)

Those are pretty. I’ll have to keep those in mind when I’m looking for some neutral polishes. I’ve been buying so many bright and bold colors lately I’ve forgotten about neutrals.

Same here Shannon! Brights, Bolds and Pastels are all I have been using, so some pretty neutrals were refreshing!
