Rica Nail Polish Squishy Rainbow Partial Collection Swatches & Review

by Lisa Heath

Press Sample

I recently received 4 Rica shades from the Squishy Rainbow Collection from Color4Nails to review, and this is my first experience with the Rica brand.

The Squishy Rainbow Collection is an assortment of sheer jelly shades that are named after various fruits and truly are juicy and “squishy” looking.  These would all be amazing for glitter sandwich manis as well as pond manis (which I plan to try out soon!)

Squishy Blueberry

Squishy Blueberry

Squishy Blueberry was my favorite of the 4 I received.  This is a beautiful, sheer sky blue jelly.  I used 3 coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.

Squishy Lime

Squishy Lime

Squishy Lime is a vibrant lime green jelly with a VERY subtle and delicate shimmer within it.  Of the 4 I received this was the only one with a touch of shimmer.  I used 3 thin coats for these photos.

Squishy Strawberry

Squishy Strawberry is a pink toned red jelly.  Of the 4, Squishy Strawberry had the best coverage.  I used 3 coats for these photos.

Overview

Application wise, these Squishy shades were flawless.  They glided on easily and the colors are easy to build.  They are jellies, so there will be a VNL unless you do several coats.  The colors were nice and I will most likely be purchasing the remaining shades within the collection.

Price: $7.00 Each

They’re lovely! Great swatches. I think the Lime is my favorite because of the shimmer.

The lime is so pretty and I didn’t realize there was shimmer until I put it on!

These look good enough to eat. What’s wrong with me?! lolol. Swooning over the shimmer in Lime ♥

These look lovely! I’m usually not a fan of jelly polishes but I like that you are still able to build these up to a decent opacity!

I love Ricarda!! Although I still have to try out more of her polishes, especially her stamping ones!!! These are so squishy looking!! They make me want to try lead-lighting!!
