Red Apple Lipstick Hibiskiss Lipstick and Nude Lip Pencil Swatch and Review

by Lisa Heath

Ever heard of Red Apple Lipstick?  They are a gluten-free, non-toxic and cruelty-free line that carries lipsticks, glosses, eyeshadows, and balms!  Their lines cover a great range of shades to easily find a little something for everyone and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review for them!

My goodies arrived in this cute packaging which I still store them in!

Hibiskiss Lipstick

I received their lipstick in Hibiskiss which is a deep berry pink with a hint of red.  Berry shades are almost always a safe bet for me to wear, and this one has to be one of the top ones I’ve worn!   It applied easily and felt creamy on.  Wear time was phenomenal!  I wore it all day at work without reapplying and even after I got home, the lipstick itself was gone but my lips had a berry toned stain to them.  Hibiskiss didn’t dry out my lips or appear patchy after a bit of wear either.

Nude Lip Pencil

I wore Red Apple Lipstick Nude Lip Pencil with Hibiskiss!  I highly recommend everyone have a nude lip pencil in their stash at all times.  When you have an extensive lipstick collection it’s nice to have a fairly universal lip pencil for those out of the ordinary shades.

Nude Lip Pencil blended in well with Hibiskiss, was easy to control and glided on super easy!  Nude is a red based light brown shade.  On top of being a lip liner, you can also use it for all over lip color that will have a matte finish.  This pencil held up just as well as the lipstick did!  Instead of being a pencil that needs to be sharpened, it has a twist up bottom!  Less mess!

The Swatches

Hibiskiss is on the left, Nude Lip Pencil is on the right.    While in the swatches they don’t look like they would go well together, they actually blended in perfectly!

Ready to see it on me?

These are definitely some of the best lip products I’ve used and worth every penny!  Application, pigmentation and wear are amazing.  I think it’s an added bonus that they are also gluten-free, non-toxic and cruelty-free as well!

I definitely plan on picking up a few more Red Apple Lipstick Products (I’m eyeing you Coral Crush, Love My Lips and Rebel!)
