Summer In The Backyard Collection

I have a collection to share with you tonight that will be releasing tomorrow! This is the Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Summer In The Backyard Collection

Poetry Cowgirl Summer In The Backyard Trio Split Main

The Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Summer In The Backyard Collection is a simple 3 piece collection that’s a perfect transition from Summer to Fall. It was inspired by all the time spent in the pool this summer, enjoying the greenery in Poetry Cowgirl’s backyard in Florida!

Before we jump in I do want to mention something. Last month I received the Vintage Creams from Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish, and that was the first time I realized how nice her creme formulas are. This collection contains the same, smooth bases and applied beautifully. Previous shades I had tried were more crelly formulas, and I liked them – but I really feel that she is finding her groove with creme bases. The pigmentation is really nice, consistency is beautifully done and the colors have a certain vibrancy that is really lovely. This collection isn’t straight cremes like the last was, but the creme bases still really highlight the polish and stand out, for me, more than the shimmer and extras added into the bases.

Let’s take a look! This trio will be launching tomorrow at noon EST

In The Pool

In The Pool

I’m kicking this trio off with my favorite of the 3 shades. In The Pool is a vibrant, medium aqua blue creme filled with purple and gold shimmer micro flecks, as well as rainbow micro flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos

St. Augustine Grass is a medium green creme base with black micro glitter, green and gold micro flecks and grey micro flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Summer In The Backyard Collection Overview

Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Summer In The Backyard Collection

The formulas on all 3 of these shades were beautifully done. They have the perfect consistency for me (I know everyone has their preferences) but it’s not too thick, but not too thin, so it glided on easily. I’m really hoping she does more cremes and shades like these ones with flecks in them since they are really so well done. My favorite of the three shades is definitely In The Pool, but it’s followed closely by Old Wooden Fence!

Price: $10.00 Each | $27.00 Full Trio
