Yesterday Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish released a beautiful 4 piece Spring collection! Today, I have the Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Breath Of Spring Collection.
This is a simple 4 piece collection with 2 cremes that have a delicate shimmer in them and 2 glitter crellies.
This is actually my first time doing a full review for Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish, my introduction to this indie brand was when I reviewed one of her polishes in the Puppy Love Valentine’s Day Collaboration Box. I usually try to post collections on or right before the release, but I marked the wrong release date on my calendar, but she was super sweet about my mishap.
Let’s take a look at the Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Breath Of Spring Collection!
Crocuses in Snow
Crocuses in Snow is a bright white crelly packed with yellow, orange, purple, green, and white glitters of various shapes and sizes, and blue-green iridescent glitters and shreds to mimic the sparkle of fresh snow. I really loved this shade and it’s definitely my favorite of the 4. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Wildflowers on the Hill
Wildflowers on the Hill is an avocado green crelly packed with red, yellow, blue, purple, green, and white glitters of various shapes and sizes, as well as subtle orange-green iridescent glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Peaches Almost Ripe
Peaches Almost Ripe is a soft pastel peach creme with subtle green and red shimmer. The shimmer is super delicate and the camera didn’t pick it up. It’s a bit more apparent in person though. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Fields of Lavender
Fields of Lavender is a gorgeous pastel lavender creme with delicate gold shimmer. Again, like Peaches Almost Ripe – the shimmer didn’t want to come up on the camera, but it is slightly more apparent in person. You can see a hint of it in the macro below. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish Breath Of Spring Collection Overview
I like the simplicity of this collection, and the perfect Spring shades. I had no application issues with any of the 4 shades. The cremes applied in 2 coats and the crellies required 3 thin ones mainly for more glitter depth and a little more opacity – but you could probably get away with 2 normal coats, especially with Wildflowers On The Hill. While it is a crelly, the base is not as sheer as most crellies I’ve worked with.
Price: $10.00 – $11.00 Each | $38.00 Full Collection
