Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops Review

by Lisa Heath

I was actually quite lucky this past Winter season.  Not 1 cough or cold for me… but Spring and Summer is usually when I get them, so luckily I’m prepared with Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops in Natural Honey flavor!

Pine Bros

I had the opportunity to review Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops which I had read really good reviews on, so I wanted to give them a try.  While I never got to test them while I HAD a cold, I did try them one night when my throat was especially dry and felt scratchy.  I thought I was coming down with something, but it was a false alarm… just too much talking I guess :p

The Natural Honey flavor was really nice.  It wasn’t a super strong flavor, but enough to have a pleasant taste in your mouth.  Nothing I hate more than cough drops that TASTE like cough drops!  And I’ve noticed at the drugstores it’s hard to find Natural Honey flavored throat drops.  Most are menthol, fruit or a combo of both.  The Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops definitely lubricated my throat and relieved some of the dry feeling.  Since I didn’t get to try them on an actual sore throat or cough though, that’s as much as I can report on them

While I didn’t actually get a cough or cold in the last month, my son did.  He’s 8 years old so he tried these out for me and said he liked them.  First throat drop he actually LIKED!  It did settle his cough for a bit… maybe 30 minutes or so.  But he said his throat felt much better after trying them.  It didn’t get rid of it entirely, but well enough that he could eat a bit trying it without wincing from throat pain.

Overview

Unfortunately I could only give a taste type review on Pine Bros Softish Throat drops since I haven’t gotten sick in awhile (knock on wood) but from what I could tell, they seemed pretty good.  Got little ones?  These might be great to try with them!  My 8 year old liked them and didn’t make “the face” when I had him take one for his sore throat and cough, which is a win for me!  It did seem to relieve his sore throat for a bit, long enough to eat and eased his cough for a bit as well.
