Orly Galaxy Girl and Space Cadet

These two beauties caught my eye while I was browsing Ulta today. The light hit the small display just right and I was mesmerized by their gorgeous duochrome. I love a good duochrome, probably my favorite type of polish to buy. Not only that but they had an amazing sparkle to them too – what more could someone want?

So I purchased these and started swatching as soon as I got home!

Sunlight Shade

Space Cadet is my favorite of the two. I haven’t really seen a polish like it. Space Cadet is a pinkish plum color with a chartreuse green with a hint of gold duochrome. Really gorgeous. I keep staring at my nails because its just unique to me. I used 3 coats for complete opaqueness.

Shade Sunlight

Galaxy Girl is gorgeous as well – it was actually hard to say which of the two were my favorite because they are both pretty. Galaxy Girl is a deep burgundy color with teal and purple flecks to give off the duochrome effect. I used 3 coats for this as well.

These were two of six colors available from Orly’s Cosmic FX collection from Fall of 2010. I may go back for one or two more polishes from this collection. I was an Orly virgin until tonight, and right now I am sold on the brand now. Absolutely beautiful!

Like dogs in the wheel, birds inside a cage, or squirrels inside a chain, ambitious men still climb and climb, with great labor, and incessant anxiety, but never get to the top.
If you have something that a guy can perform well, I only say permit him to take action. Provide him the opportunity.
