NCLA Nail Lacquer Swatches and Review

Good evening ladies!  I know its been almost a week since I have posted a review, but I took the entire week off of work and decided to relax and enjoy a couple of days in my jammies with no obligations!  I couldn’t stay away too long though!  I just got 3 lovely polishes in the mail yesterday and had to get to swatching!

NCLA (which stands for Nail Couture Los Angeles) is a company that loves fashion and adores nails!  For NCLA, the perfect outfit starts with your personal style and it ends right at the tip of your fingers! NCLA is born, bred and brewed to perfection in sunny California and fast becoming an LA icon.  NCLA is a 5 free company that says NO to Formaldehyde, DBP, Toulene, Camphor and Animal Testing!

Ready for some swatches?  Here we go!

Eight Days a Week:

Eight Days a Week is a gorgeous periwinkle blue creme with just a smidgeon of purple undertones to it.  I used two coats and a glossy top coat.  Eight Days A Week is part of NCLA’s Summer of 69 collection and a song by The Beatles!

Hold me, love me, hold me, love me.
I ain’t got nothin’ but love babe,
Eight days a week.

Santa Monica Shore Thing:

Santa Monica Shore Thing is a mint green creme polish.  I love that it is a slight pastel like color, but without all the streaks and heartbreak I experience with pastels.  I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat.  Santa Monica Shore Thing is part of NCLA’s The LA Collection

Pool Side Party, All Eyes on ME!:

Pool Side Party, All Eyes on Me! is the PERFECT Summer Peach color!  I couldn’t wait to put this gorgeous peach creme on.  Another pastel without the streaks!  I’m in LOVE!  This one is also apart of The LA Collection!

The pigmentation and formula on all 3 of these colors were fabulous and the dry time was FAST!  Almost matte formula fast!  Eight Days a Week started drying by the second brush stroke on each nail, the other 2 allowed for me to finish the nail before they started drying.

NCLA polishes are available on the NCLA website and retail for $16.00 per 15 ml bottle.  You can search for a retailer near you HERE

NCLA also carries a line of Nail Wraps with some pretty amazing designs on them that you can check out HERE
