NCLA Nail Lacquer 2012 Fall Collection – From Dusk Till Dawn Swatches and Review

Good afternoon ladies!  Shocking that I’m actually doing a post in the afternoon rather than at night, but I was able to do a lot of swatching and play catchup in the last few days!

NCLA (which stands for Nail Couture Los Angeles) is a company that loves fashion and adores nails!  For NCLA, the perfect outfit starts with your personal style and it ends right at the tip of your fingers! NCLA is born, bred and brewed to perfection in sunny California and fast becoming an LA icon.  NCLA is a 5 free company that says NO to Formaldehyde, DBP, Toulene, Camphor and Animal Testing!

NCLA sent me their Fall Collection, which is called From Dusk Till Dawn, to show off!

Call Me For The After Party:

Call Me For The After Party is a gorgeous metallic midnight blue!    This was my top pick of the 4!  I used 2 coats for full opacity.  This polish dries pretty quickly too.  The first coat looked mildly streaky, but the second coat evened it out with no issues.

Without Me, There’s No VIP!:

Without Me, There’s No VIP! is a beautiful metallic burgundy with the smallest holo glitter scattered throughout.  The holo glitter is spread out and extremely subtle in the polish, but when outdoors as the light hits just right, you get a little sparkle!  This is 2 coats!

Dirty Martini:

Dirty Martini is an olive creme polish with great coverage!  I used 2 coats for this photo and no top coat (I actually liked the finish without a glossy top coat!).

Rock Solid:

Rock Solid is another favorite of mine from this collection!  Rock Solid is a slate grey creme with silver glitter scattered throughout.  I used 2 coats and a top coat for this mani!  One thing I noticed was that consistency wise, Rock Solid was a little thicker than the rest, but still easy to work with.

The pigmentation and formula on all 4 of these colors were fabulous!

NCLA polishes are available on the NCLA website and retail for $16.00 per 15 ml bottle.  You can search for a retailer near you HERE

NCLA also carries a line of Nail Wraps with some pretty amazing designs on them that you can check out HERE
