My Halloween Manicure with Pretty & Polished Candy Corn and Spider Stencil!

Happy Halloween!  LOVE this holiday!  There were a few years between when I was at an “acceptable” age to Trick or Treat and when I had my son where I could kind of take it or leave it, mainly due to my retail job I had back then.  They didn’t allow employees to dress up and by the time we closed and I got the nightly books done, it was late and I was too tired for much else.

Having my little boy really brought the fun back in Halloween for me!  And I get free candy now while he does all the talking (oh you know all of you snag some kiddie candy too!)

For the last 2 months I have been getting Halloween polishes in, and with each one I think “OH! I’m wearing THIS on Halloween!” but the time came and I couldn’t decide!  So I rounded up all of my Halloween polishes, put them in a box, closed my eyes and grabbed one.  Pretty & Polished Candy Corn won!

To dress it up for Halloween a bit more, I did an accent nail with my Revlon Spider Stencils I bought last month.  I used Sinful Colors Black on Black for the Spider (please excuse the wonky leg… I was a bit tired and didn’t wait long enough for it to dry before adding top coat).  I really love all of the color change polishes Pretty & Polished came up with.  I own all of them and will probably buy any that she produces in the future.

For Halloween this year my 6 year old wanted to be Harry Potter!  Originally he wanted to be a Storm Trooper, but they were out of that costume in his size, so he settled with Harry Potter.  He is determined to be a Storm Trooper next year though!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!

I love it! I was gonna wear this polish on Halloween, but 2 nails broke so I had to cut them down. I wouldn’t have orange tips. Booo. I can always use it in Nov for a Fall mani!
