Maya Cosmetics Swatches and Review
Today’s post features 4 new Maya Cosmetics Nail Lacquer swatches! I’m really excited about this post because 1 of them I helped create and another was created by Kelly at Set In Lacquer, and both polishes can be worn together!
As I’ve said many times over, I absolutely LOVE the quality of Maya Cosmetics. Their application, pigmentation and wear definitely rivals department store polishes!
Take a look!
Fat Monday is a GLITTER BOMB! I love that it’s mixed into a purple jelly base as well instead of just a clear base. Fat Monday features fuchsia, blue, black and gold holo hexes as well as small gold glitters and micro bar glitters. I used 3 coats for this photo and a glossy top coat.
This one is a dazzler! Reef is a crelly Turquoise with yellow, green and bronze shimmer mixed in. I only needed 2 coats of Reef and I topped it off with a glossy top coat.
I was so excited to get this one and try it on! Sanctuary was originally going to be a polish made exclusively for the giveaway Set In Lacquer and I are doing. There were only going to be 5 bottles made… ever. BUT once completed, Kat from Maya Cosmetics liked it so much she asked if it could become a permanent part of her shop! Of course I was happy with that! Sanctuary is a crelly soft aqua blue with aqua and silver shimmer. The shimmer is really subtle and i love this polish (but I may be slightly biased!)
Yup, the label even says Sanctuary by Cosmetic Sanctuary!
Much like Sanctuary, Wyoming Skies was suppose to be an exclusive polish for our Giveaway, but it’s now in the Maya Cosmetic Shop! Wyoming Skies was created by Kelly of Set In Lacquer! Kelly wanted a polish that captured the colors of Wyoming Skies over the mountain range! Pictured is 1 coat of Wyoming Skies over Sanctuary!
Gorgeous glitter <3 LOVE it! Much like my label, Wyoming Skies displays Set in Lacquer’s name as well!
And that wraps up the 4 swatches I had to show you!
Kat just released a TON of new colors for the Spring! Make sure you head over to her shop to check them out!
Maya Cosmetics definitely did an amazing job with these polishes. Each one had it’s own unique look and her store contains “Shimmers” as well as “Glitters” so there is a little something for everyone, since I know not everyone loves lots of glitters either because of the look or the removal process. Either way, Maya Cosmetics Shimmers are just as fabulous if you prefer those!
Maya Cosmetics Nail Lacquer retails for $9.50 per bottle and can be found on her shop page HERE
Hope you loved these swatches! I can’t wait to see more from Maya Cosmetics! Truly amazing creations
