Lynnderella Shape Shifter over Butter London Knackered Swatches and Review

I have gotten some lovely polishes in the mail lately and in today’s mail I received my Butter London purchase as well as Lynnderella Shape Shifter which Nick purchased for me!  I wanted to do a manicure using my new lovelies and after some trial and error, decided on Butter London Knackered with a sparkle topping of Lynnderella Shape Shifter!

Butter London Knackered was one of those colors I HAD to have.  Not sure what it was, but I wanted it.  I had heard iffy reviews regarding the color and I knew it wouldn’t be like the bottle – but I still needed it.  It is very sheer!  Perfect for layering over other colors and transforming them a bit.  I used 3 layers to achieve a level of opacity that I was happy with and once the third layer dried I realized it was pretty close to A England’s Princess Tears!  It isn’t a dead on dupe, but it has the same silvery lilac base color (although the lilac was more apparent) but the holo micro glitter in Knackered is more spread out and has more holo  to it than Princess Tears.  I tried getting a picture of the holo but it didn’t want to play much.  Instead it looks like I have tiny bumps all over my nails, but you can still see the base color:

I topped Butter London Knackered off with Lynnderella Shape Shifter.  My oh my, I will need another bottle of this!   Shape Shifter has multiple sizes of silver holographic hexagons and squares, micro glitter,  hearts, stars, diamonds, crescent moons, flowers, butterflies and bars in a clear base.  So much in one little bottle!  I was very pleased with the fact that all the glitter layed flat on application and my nails don’t feel gritty.  The glitter spread out nicely with no manipulation needed to place it.  I used 1 coat of Poshe Quick Dry Top Coat to protect it.  I went outside for lunch 30 minutes ago and my nails are just bright and flashing all over the place!  Love this combo together!

In doors at work my nails seem very low key with little flashes, but this baby shines outside and looks amazing!  Both polishes are a VERY happy addition to my nail polish family!

Butter London retails for $14.00 on ButterLondon.com

Lynnderella Shape Shifter can be found on Llarowe’s shop page but I would suggest signing up for the site and subscribing to emails so you can be updated with Lynnderella’s will be in stock.  Lynnderella’s retail for $15.00.
