LipiX MCT Energy Bars Review

Happy Sunday everyone!

Today I have another energy bar review for you, this one by LipiX!  I received their MCT Energy Bar for review in the flavor Cocoa.

The LipiX© MCT Bar is a delicious meal replacement formula comprising Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT), protein, Fiber and Omega-3 DHA to support brain health.First ever food with high Medium Chain Triglycerides (7g of MCTs per bar), a type of saturated fat found in human breast milk, coconut oil and palm oils and are known to generate Ketone bodies, a source of energy, used by brain cells.

I am currently am on a Ketogenic diet, so I do have an understanding of Ketones and how they work.

As I said I received them in Cocoa and I’ll be honest, the flavor wasn’t for me.  Everyone is different when it comes to energy bars, and obviously they aren’t going to taste like our sugary treats, but this just wasn’t for me.

As far as texture, it was what you would expect from an energy bar, but there was a slightly oily feel to the MCT Bars due to the various oils within them.

MCT Nutrtion

Here is the nutrition information.  Overall it looks pretty good, but because I am limited to my carb intake (only allowed 20 carbs a day max) I would probably select a different flavor by LipiX in the future.  This is specifically for my eating habits though.

LipiX© MCT Bars are specially designed to retain DHA stable in an energy bar. LipiX© MCT Bars have NO ADDED SUGAR and all of its sweetness is derived from vegetable glycerin (from Vegitable Oils) and fruits. With MCT Bars, no need to buy MCT oil, DHA capsules and protein separately. LipiX© MCT Bar is a science based meal replacement health food with nine organic ingredients.

Overall I do think that the MCT Energy Bars are pretty good.  My hunger was curbed using just 1 bar as a meal replacement and my energy didn’t seem to plummet.  As I said before though, I would just select a different flavor in the future for my personal preferences.

Price: $29.99 for a box of 8 bars

Where To Buy: Buy LipiX Website

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Today, while I was at work, my sister stole my iPad and tested to see if it can survive a thirty foot drop, just so she
can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now destroyed and she has 83 views.
I know this is totally off topic but I had to
share it with someone!
