KBShimmer Nail Polishes Swatches and Reviews

I’m back with more KBShimmer lovelies!  I already have a list of which of her polishes I want next!  They are just simply stunning!  I’ll share my personal ‘KBShimmer want list’ at the end of this post!

Along with the 4 Fall Colors I was sent, I was also sent 4 colors from her permanent line to swatch!

Glow Stick:

I absolutely LOVE Glow Stick!  It’s a ‘highlighter yellow’ and bright as can be!  I really didn’t think my camera would be able to accurately photograph this and it did.  Glow Stick is full of small holographic glitters as well as holo bar glitter, stars, small hexes and diamonds.  I loved that the glitter was visible without overpowering the polish base!  I used 3 coats for this mani and a shiny top coat.  Because it is a neon polish it dries to a matte like finish, so if you like matte, keep as is, if you love shiny just slap a top coat on top like I did!

All American:

All American is another beauty.  A very sheer blue base with a mixture of red, white and blue bar glitter, red squares, small blue and white hexes and silver stars.  I did need 3 coats for this mani, so if you want it more opaque it would be best with a base color first.  I didn’t want to put a base so that you could see the actual color.

Watercolor:

Watercolor was one of my favorites!  A gorgeous blue base with different sizes of pink, blue, red, silver and purple hex glitters within.  I used 3 layers for this mani and it is spectacular!  I was expecting this to be a bumpy mess when I applied it because of all the glitter, but it really wasn’t!  Just 1 coat of HK Girl Top Coat and it was smooth as can be!

Party:

A Party on my fingertips.. LITERALLY!  This polish is just gorgeous!  Party consists of a white base that is fairly sheer, but builds well.  Inside the white base there is a mixture of red and black square glitter,  medium sized blue hex, holographic gold hex, and silver holographic glitter, AND small fuchsia, navy, and green glitters.   Whew.  That’s a lot going on in one bottle, but man is it gorgeous!  I used 3 coats for this mani, but as always, if you don’t have patience for 3 coats, lay down an opaque white base first.

All 4 polishes spread on easily and effortlessly and there was no fishing around for glitter.  I got plenty with each dip of the brush.
