Jordana Glitters Swatches and Review

Good evening ladies!  I have more glittery goodness to share with you tonight!  Back in February I reviewed 18 gorgeous Jordana Glitters (view that post HERE) and I was recently sent 6 more which complete the 24 piece Jordana Glitter Nail Polish!  I swear they saved the best for last too!   If you are in need of a glitter polish of ANY kind, just head over to K-Mart and look at this selection, most likely, you will find a glitter polish you LOVE!

Outer Space

I’m going to start with my favorite of the group!  Outer Space has small light blue glitter particles with slightly larger gold and pink hex glitters.  I layered this over Milani Mint Candy!  I was looking for a good polish to layer it over and this one just jumped out at me and I love this combo!  I used 1 coat of Outer Space  for this mani!

Purple Party

Purple Party was another one I loved.  How could I not?  It’s PURPLE!  This one consisted of small pinky purple, silver and light green particles of glitters.  This is an easy layering glitter polish that doesn’t need a base color, but you can use one if you wish too!  I used 2 coats of Purple Party for this mani!

Red Flash

Red Flash has small fiery red glitter particles mixed in with slightly larger red hex glitters.  In the bottle I thought it looked fairly boring, but when I put it on I actually really liked the fact that the glitters were the same color but with different sizes which gave it a little spunk.  For this mani I layered Red Flash over Milani Deep Thoughts (my favorite purple!).  I only used 1 layer of Red Flash!

Confetti

Confetti is a clear polish base with medium fuchsia hex glitters mixed in.  these glitters curl a bit, so if you try to stay away from those, that would be my warning.  They don’t curl so much that they snag, but you will have a slightly bumpy feeling nail (I don’t mind it much, I just don’t like glitters snagging!).  I layered one coat of Confetti over Milani Orchidia!

Carnival

Carnival may look familiar to some of you!  Definitely a dupe for a higher end polish that I bet you can all spot!  Carnival has small blue glitter particles and medium green, blue and silver hex glitters suspended in a deep blue jelly base!   Gorgeous!

Galaxy

Galaxy is the final glitter in the collection!  Galaxy consist of gunmetal grey glitter particles mixed in with medium gunmetal grey hex glitter.  This is the grey version of Red Flash, but wasn’t as exciting as Red Flash!  I still liked it, but it didn’t wow me like the rest!   I used 1 coat of Galaxy over Milani Beach Front!

I was pleased with all 6 of these glitter polishes, and as a whole the 24 piece collection definitely has a little something for everyone!  None of the 6 Glitter Polishes were too think or difficult to apply.  I loved the fact that I didn’t have to manipulate the glitters and each dip into the bottle produced a good amount of glitter on the brush!

Jordana Glitter Specialty Nail Polishes and other Jordana Nail Polish colors can be found in K-Mart for $2.99 a bottle.

***The polishes contained in this post were sent to me for review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions are my own***

I LOVE the Jordana glitters. Many of them are dupes for Milani’s glitter collection as well, at half the price. I think the formula is good and they all wear well. I wish more stores carried them. Thanks for showing some colors I haven’t seen before. I’m going to have to keep my eyes peeled!

did you layer Carnival over anything or is that 2 coats on its own?!? Also, do you know if Kmart is carrying the full glitter line now?
