Gwen’s Blends Hair Lotion Review

by Lisa Heath

Gwen’s Blends has a hair lotion to help tame your hair!  Gwen’s Blends Hair Lotion can be used to tame curls or to add much needed moisture to any hair type.

My hair is only slightly wavy in back but completely straight in front, but it is thick and sometimes needs added oomph to get it to look tamed.  Although I own over 5,000 polishes and have a cosmetic collection that rivals that number – my actual hair product collection is quite pathetic.  I own 1 bottle of hair spray (which I only bought for nail art…) and a couple different oils to smooth my hair and a random assortment of hair masks, shampoos and conditioners.  I don’t use curling irons, I don’t even own a blow dryer.. and I guess I’ll admit I still have a hair crimper from the early 90’s (don’t laugh!) although I haven’t seen it in awhile – must not have unpacked it when I moved 4 years ago.

My point is – I only use hair products that are low maintenance but get the job DONE.  I don’t like to fuss with my hair, so the simpler the better.

Hair Moisturizer

Gwen’s Blends Hair Lotion moisturizes, defines, defrizzes, detangles, and holds curls, waves,  and kinks.  It’s gentle enough for fine hair, and strong enough for thick hair.  It’s a blend of natural oils and shea butter.  It’s all natural, no chemicals or parabens.  Right up my alley!

While my hair is only wavy, this actually helps to add some weight to it (without making it stick straight) so I have a nice healthy straight look to my hair after using it.  I do dye my hair on occasion, and Gwen’s Blends Hair Lotion is perfectly safe for permed or color treated hair as well, so no need for me to switch products when I decide to dye my hair!

Hair Lotion

I only need a small amount of Gwen’s Blends Hair Lotion.  My hair is down to my shoulder blades, wavy in back, straight in front.  On the thick side as well!

And my hair with Gwen’s Blends Hair Lotion in it

Definitely an easy to use, low maintenance product!
