Great Lakes Lacquer | The Great Ones: Revisited Collection

Happy Friday again… this next post is one I’m super excited about. Great Lakes Lacquer is back from her break and she’s bringing back a collection she had promised to do, but they are the exact same as the originals. They capture a feel of the originals (minus Lake Superior) so there will mostly be a familiar feeling – but they have been redone. This is the Great Lakes Lacquer The Great Ones: Revisited Collection!

I was really excited to see Mariah back from her break – and this revisited set of GLL favs is the perfect way to announce your return!

Before going on break, Great Lakes Lacquer had promised the return of this collection, and they aren’t exact (as I mentioned) they are beautiful additions to the originals plus Lake Superior went a different direction. Basically… she wanted to capture it’s colder and very frigid face.

These release tonight at 9PM EST, so be ready! I will add some shipping codes and such at the bottom of this post as well.

Great Lakes Lacquer | Lake Erie: Revisited

Lake Erie: Revisited is a semi sheer blurple jelly base loaded with black to red to orange shifting micro flakes, blue to purple shifting shimmer and scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Great Lakes Lacquer | Lake Huron: Revisited

Lake Huron: Revisited is a deep teal base loaded with silver to green to cobalt blue, as swell as scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is a stunning shade and when the light hits – the green shift GLOWS. It’s beautifully done.

Great Lakes Lacquer | Lake Michigan: Revisited

lake Michigan: Revisited is a turquoise jelly base loaded with copper to gold to green to blue shifting iridescent flakes, as well as scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Mariah noted that these are the same flakes as used in Labradorescence, but if you are also still in search of To The Very Fires of Mordor – while this isn’t a dupe, it’s a close cousin and may help ease the pain of missing out on the original.

Great Lakes Lacquer | Lake Ontario: Revisited

Lake Ontario: Revisited is a periwinkle leaning medium blue crelly base with blue shimmer that has a slightly subtle purple to pink shift, as well as scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Great Lakes Lacquer | Lake Superior: Revisited

Lake Superior: Revisited is a pale aqua blue crelly base with red to gold to green shifting shimmer, and a subtle scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Great Lakes Lacquer | HOMES

HOMES is how some have learned the names of the Great Lakes! Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie and Superior.

HOMES is a clear base with blue metallic microflakes, iridescent flakes that shift green to blue to purple to pink, as well as 3 different holographic pigment types. I used 3 thin coats alone, but you can also use this as a topper.

Great Lakes Lacquer | The Great Ones: Revisited Collection
