When I saw the Great Lakes Lacquer A Nude Awakening Collection for the first time… I knew I would fall in love. The names are pretty much fitting for my coffee obsession, and well, it’s polish so it already hits home for my other obsession!

This is a 4 piece neutral collection and each shade has a little added oomph to it, so these definitely aren’t your ‘boring neutrals’

Don’t Forget The Whip

Don’t Forget The Whip is a vanilla crelly packed with gold to bronze and teal to violet multi chrome flakes, as well as pink to gold shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

For real though, I want all my drinks loaded with whip. I’ll even add whip to my normal coffee if I have any on hand.

Make Mine A Grande

Make Mine A Grande is a light mocha brown with bronze shimmer, holo micro flakes, and a subtle linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

All of mine are Venti btw. Unless it comes in Trenta.

Sleeve Me

Sleeve Me is a light greyed out purple with a red to bronze sheen and pink microflakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Coffee Is Necessary

I 100% agree with this statement. Coffee is necessary and I will grunt at you until I’ve had my fill. Just ask my coworkers.

Coffee Is Necessary is a medium toffee brown with gold shimmer and gold to bronze to teal chrome flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
