I was planning on having this post up last night, but around 11am yesterday I decided to tell Nick I wanted a blog makeover. Nick is incredibly supportive of my
habit hobby and spent most of the night doing an overhaul, new theme, making sure everything we needed was there, up and running. So… now I’m doing the post for GlitterDaze’s new Radioactive Rainbow collection!
Radioactive Rainbow is a 10 piece collection with bright, fun, holographic shades. These are not neons, but they are still bright, vibrant and fun.
Let’s take a look!
GlitterDaze Radioactive Rainbow Collection Apo-Calypso Swatch
Apo-Calypso is a bright sky blue linear holographic. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a glossy top coat.
GlitterDaze Radioactive Rainbow Collection Atomic Candy Swatch
Atomic Candy is a perfect violet linear holographic. Definitely a beautiful shade and one of my favorites in the collection. I used 2 coats and a top coat for these photos.
GlitterDaze Radioactive Rainbow Collection Chemical Limeade Swatch
Chemical Limeade is a vibrant lime green linear holographic. I used 3 thin coats for these photos and a top coat.
Electromagnetic Bubble Gum
GlitterDaze Radioactive Rainbow Collection Electromagnetic Bubble Gum Swatch
Electromagnetic Bubble Gum is a bright bubble gum pink linear holographic. I love this shade for a nice, girly pink. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
GlitterDaze Radioactive Rainbow Collection Nuclear Geradium Swatch
Nuclear Geradium is a bright magenta linear holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a top coat for these photos.
GlitterDaze Radioactive Rainbow Collection Radioactive Decay Swatch
Radioactive Decay is a light green linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Red Hot Rays
GlitterDaze Radioactive Rainbow Collection Red Hot Rays Swatch
Red Hot Rays is a stunning orange toned red linear holographic. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Red Hot Rays is another favorite from this collection.
GlitterDaze Radioactive Rainbow Collection Retro Spectrum Swatch
Retro Spectrum is another favorite. I don’t know what it is, but I cannot get over a perfect silver holographic. I’m wearing this still today. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
GlitterDaze Radioactive Rainbow Collection Solar Contamination Swatch
Solar Contamination is a slightly orange tinted yellow linear holographic. Yellow is a hard shade to pull off, but having the slight orange tint to this made it more wearable for me than other yellows. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat.
Sun Kissed Wasteland
GlitterDaze Radioactive Rainbow Collection Sun Kissed Wasteland Swatch
Finally we have Sun Kissed Wasteland which is another favorite. Sun Kissed Wasteland is an orange leaning coral linear holographic.
GlitterDaze Radioactive Rainbow Collection Overview
Application wise, this collection was top notch. They all had a jelly like base which allowed for smooth application and the color built up nicely. I like that it’s a cheery yet basic color palette of linear holographic shades. We were inundated with neons left and right for the last 4 months or so (don’t get me wrong.. I love my neons but there were a lot this year) so to have a more toned down collection that still packed a bit of a punch was a nice change of pace.
My top picks from this collection are: Sun Kissed Wasteland, Retro Spectrum, Atomic Candy and Chemical Limeade.
Price: $12.00 Each
