January is just flying by, and I have a few posts that need to go up before it’s over! First up is Girly Bits January 2018 Color Of The Month Duo!
Both shades are very “Winter-esque” to me. As usual, Pam enlisted the help of her Facebook Fan Group to help name these beauties! Make sure you pop over there and join so you can also get in on the fun. If the name you suggest is picked – you get a bottle!
Okay let’s jump in and look at these 2 shades. I already have February’s ready to go, but let’s get through the January exclusive shades first!
Blue Year’s Resolution
Blue Year’s Resolution is a blurple holo base with teal-purple-blue color shifting shimmer, and tiny emerald green glitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Act Your Sage
Okay truth time. When I first got this polish I was kinda like “ehhh” but when I put it on, I was like “ohh” – it actually looked pretty amazing with my skintone and it’s not a shade I generally would have reached for. I also got a lot of compliments on it. Someone said it was chic too. I’m like typical mess mom, so I don’t get the chic compliments much unless it’s a staged photo or something – so that says a lot for me.
Act Your Sage murky greyish green base with a slight blue shine, iridescent blue flecks, tiny holographic glitters, and tiny gold flecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Girly Bits January 2018 Color Of The Month Duo Overview
Okay so I really loved both of these once I was wearing them. When I first saw the bottles I was like “BLUE YEARS RESOLUTION!!!” and it’s gorgeous, but I have to say that it’s Act My Sage that stole my heart and is my top pick of this duo. It’s a unique shade and looks pretty damn amazing on.
