I have so much to share before January is over! So many pretties and time is whizzing by! I received all 8 of January’s Hella Holo Custom’s shades – 4 are from Great Lakes Lacquer and 4 are from Pahlish. All 8 are PHENOMENAL. I split them into two posts because each brand needs to be showcased on their own. It’s just how I do things. So… here are the Great Lakes Lacquer January 2018 Hella Holo Customs Exclusives!

Gorgeous right?  These were created specifically for the Hella Holo Customs group, so you do have to be a member there to purchase. I made the group name clickable for easy access to join if you aren’t a member already. Typically every month there are anywhere from 2-8ish exclusives available, depending on brands who made customs for the month. This month there are 2 brands and each brand created 4 polishes.

Let’s take a look at Great Lakes Lacquer offerings and tomorrow afternoonish I will have Pahlish’s on the blog! Her photos are done, but since I had to work Saturday I haven’t had time to crop and resize yet.

From Darkness Comes Light

From Darkness Comes Light is a green leaning teal linear holographic with gold to bronze multichrome flake and shimmer that shifts from blue to purple. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

So Sweet And So Cold

So Sweet And So Cold is a light lilac based linear holographic with holo micro flake and blue, purple, aqua, and green shimmer.  The first coat is a little on the sheer side, but it actually builds up really nicely. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Whatever Our Souls Are Made Of

I’m going to be 100% honest with you all. If you can only buy ONE Great Lakes Lacquer shade from this batch – this should be the one. It’s amazing in person. It’s amazing in photos – but multiply that by like 100 and you have the polish in person.

Whatever Our Souls Are Made Of is a light icy blue linear holographic enriched with shifting shimmer that hits pink, orange, and gold.  I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The Rush Of Brightness

The Rush Of Brightness is a bright, cobalt blue jelly with iridescent shifting flakes and shimmer that shifts from an orange copper to gold to green, with a tight scattered holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

All 4 of these had beautiful application. I tend to use thin coats, so I did 3 thin coats for all of these, but most would be perfectly fine in 2 normal coats. My top picks are Whatever Our Souls Are Made Of and The Rush Of Brightness!

If you are not familiar with Hella Holo Customs, it is a Facebook group that showcases two indie makers a month.  The members help chose the colors being released. To order any of the HHC shades you must be a member of the group.  The link to the group is here.  Once you are accepted to the group make sure to check out all of the rules and find out how to order.

Available Through January 31st, 2018

Make sure you join Hella Holo Customs for ordering information! I will be back tomorrow with the 4 Pahlish offerings as well!

So what did you think? Will you be ordering any?
