Press Sample of Girly Bits April 2018 Color Of The Month Duo

I was hoping to have this up sooner in the month, but tax season was a doozy and I wanted to do some nail art with these shades! Which shades? Well, the Girly Bits April 2018 Color Of The Month Duo, of course!

This month’s duo consists of a crelly packed with shimmer, microglitters and flecks, as well as a nice creme shade that goes beautifully with it!

Let’s jump right into this month’s duo!

My Peony Has a First Name

My Peony Has a First Name is a medium pink toned purple orchid creme. This was pretty much a 1 coater, but I did use 2 for these photos. As soon as I applied it, I knew it would stamp and I had to do it for this post – so you’ll see it towards the bottom!

Bouquet Corral

Bouquet Corral is a white crelly base with rose gold shimmer, scattered holographic sparks, and ultrachrome flakes in pink, purple and gold. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

As I mentioned – My Peony Has A First Name was pretty much a 1 coat creme, so I had to stamp with it! I used 3 thin coats of Bouquet Corral as a base, then I got out my clear squishy stamper and What’s Up Nails B002 plate (both are available in the Girly Bits shop!) and used My Peony Has A First Name to stamp.

I was really excited when I tried the creme and noticed it might stamp – especially since it went so well with it’s duo. Both polishes applied beautifully and it’s an incredible pairing to pick up!
