If you are like me, music is a part of your everyday life. Not a day goes by when I haven’t listened to music.  Usually in the morning Nick gets up a good hour before I do, and between him leaving and me dragging my butt out of bed (I’m not a morning person at all!) I spend that hour listening to music while laying in bed.

I was sent the DKnight Magicbox Ultra Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker to review and so far, it’s worked out really well for those rooms in the house I don’t have music set up in.  It’s small, lightweight and easy to carry from one room to the next.  I had no trouble pairing it with my iPhone 5 or my iPad Mini either.  It also has a mini SD card slot so you can use it as a stand alone player.

The sound is better than most bluetooth devices I have used by far.  The audio quality is really good for such a small speaker. Sound clarity was excellent,  and the maximum volume was louder than most I have experienced.  If I put it on full blast, it easily sent music throughout the house so I could plant the device in one room and move around the house freely without missing a song.

A USB charging cable is included in the packaging. It has an 800mAh internal battery which can be recharged from the USB port.  Time wise, I found that I had to recharge it every few days, depending on usage, but it was a lot less recharging than with other devices.

The DKnight Magicbox comes in 3 colors – red, blue and black.  Mine was blue and had I been purchasing it, it’s still the color I would have selected.

Overall, definitely a great speaker to have and use – especially for the price.  I have had some pricier ones in the past that were incredibly low quality and felt like a huge waste.  The DKnight Magicbox is incredibly easy to use, even for a tech challenged person like myself and I would buy this as a gift for anyone wanting one.  I’m considering getting a red one for my son to use in his room as a stocking stuffer at Christmas.
