Looking for a nice, lightweight moisturizer with sunscreen in it? Then look no further, Dermalogica has you covered with their Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50.
Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50 features the same fast-absorbing formula as their SPF30 version. It contains Antioxidant White Tea, which is rich in polyphenols, inhibits lipid peroxide formation and helps neutralize free radicals. It also contains patented Oleosome encapsulation technology which boosts sunscreen effectiveness for critical protection against UV rays.
The packaging is a sleek white plastic, airtight pump bottle with a silver cap. I prefer my skin products like moisturizers to be in pump bottles like this so that was a plus right off the bat for me.
Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery is fairly lightweight, but because I have oilier skin I do have to apply sparingly, but I still find that 2 pumps of product covers my entire face and neck. If I go beyond 2, my skin feels too oily and I end up blotting a lot of product off.
It does contain a high SPF which is good all year round, most people assume that SPF is for Spring and Summer but it isn’t. You need to always protect your skin, and if you are fair skinned like I am, SPF50 is the way to go.
For me, this is a must have product. I really love the Dermalogica line and this is the highest SPF moisturizer I have for my face without layering products. Because of this I use it a lot, and have even repurchased it. If you have incredibly oily skin though, this may not be for you. My face is on the oilier side and I have to use sparingly or I will have a grease slick on my hands (well… face). Even though I risk applying too much, I still like the product and will continue to use it because it works for me.
If you know your skin gets super oily, I would honestly skip this product. I have mildly oily skin and it’s borderline for me, but if my skin was naturally oilier, I wouldn’t be able to use it.
If your skin is on the drier side or normal combo then this would be a fantastic product for you.
One of my favorite parts about the Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery aside from having SPF50? It’s formulated without artificial fragrances, colors or parabens. I have enough going on with my skin, I don’t need any of that stuff added as well!
