Dazzle Dry Summer Scape Collection Review and Swatches

A few months ago I had the pleasure of doing my very first review for Dazzle Dry.  Since then I still consider their 3 piece Nail System to be one of the best for keeping my nails chip free and glossy until I remove it.  I have placed 2 separate orders in the last few months just to get my hands on this system.  It’s simply fabulous!  It is also a Vegan nail brand that is 4 Free (free of Toluene, DBP, Camphor and Formaldehyde)  as well as the only polish presently on the market that is  Nitrocellulose Free! For those unaware, Nitrocellulose is a highly flammable compound which is used in making dynamite – so I’m liking that Dazzle Dry is free of that!

The Dazzle Dry 3 Piece System consists of Nail Prep to remove any oils from your nail to give your base coat a nice clean surface for better adhesion, a sticky base coat to anchor your polish on (seriously, it works wonders!) and a glossy top coat that dries in minutes for a rock hard, long lasting glossy finish.  I do my mom’s nails every 2-3 weeks and she will not allow me to use anything else on her nails.  Ever.  I received another 3 Piece System along with 3 colors from Dazzle Dry Summer Scape Collection and my mom was so excited I had more, as my current stash was running low (I was thrilled too… trust me!)

Retail Price for Dazzle Dry 3 Piece Nail System:  $28.50

Now onto the 3 gorgeous colors I received from Dazzle Dry Summer Scape Collection!

Calypso Romance:

Calypso Romance is hands down my favorite of the 3 colors.  It is a gorgeous pinky purple shade with a very subtle blue shimmer.  Calypso Romance GLOWS on the nail.  I was fascinated by it.  For the photo I did not use the Dazzle Dry top coat so you could see the finish  of Dazzle Dry.  It dries to a satin finish, and for Calypso Romance, I think the finish is perfect for it.  I used two coats of Calypso Romance for this photo.

Aegean Cruise:

Another gorgeous glowy color!  Aegean Cruise is a beautiful frosty cornflower blue.  For this photo I did use Dazzle Dry Top Coat so you can see the glossiness.  Most top coats dull after a few days of wear, but not this one.  It will still look that glossy up until you decide to remove it.  I used 2 coats of Aegean Cruise for this mani.

Tuscan Holiday:

Tuscan Holiday was the surprise polish for me.  When I first glanced at the bottle I thought “meh, this probably won’t look good on me”, but once I put it on, I actually really liked it.  Tuscan Holiday is a nice bronze with a slight gold shimmer.  Two coats of Tuscan Holiday with Dazzle Dry Top Coat to finish it off and this mani was good to go!

There are 6 colors total in the Dazzle Dry Summer Scape Collection.  The three I did not review are: Tropical Sunset, Summer Safari and Week In Provence.  Make sure you head to their site for a peek at those three beauties!

Retail Price for Dazzle Dry Nail Lacquer: $9.00

I really enjoy the Dazzle Dry line.  As a mommy to a VERY busy 6 year old, I have had many moments where I paint my nails and then as soon as I paint the last one… I’m being called upon for some task.  For some reason 90% of those tasks seem to require me to dig into the bottomless pit that is my purse.  Dazzle Dry is perfect for this because their polishes and top coat dry to the touch within a minute and are rock solid in less than 5.  I have tested this time and again, and it never fails me.  So if you are a mommy who is on the go a lot, Dazzle Dry is PERFECT for you!

Make sure you check Dazzle Dry out on Facebook!  If you have any questions, they have wonderful people there that are more than happy to answer them for you! Also swing by their website to check out their selection of colors!
