Curly Hair Solutions Silk Leave In Conditioner Review

Disclaimer

Last night I reviewed Curly Hair Solutions Tweek Cream Hairspray and today I have their Silk Leave In Conditioner to show you.

To start, lets go over my hair type.  My hair has a natural wave to it.  Not quite curly, but not quite straight.  It’s rather annoying and wish it would go one way or the other.  I recently cut my hair as well, so less weight means a little more wave.  My hair is thick but it doesn’t always look like it on first glance.  I’ve gotten quotes for my hair at salons before and once they actually start pulling my hair back and actually LOOKING at it, they are like “oh.. you have a lot more than I thought!”

What does Curly Hair Solutions Silk Leave In Conditioner claim to do?:  Curly Hair Solutions™ Silk Leave-in Conditioner smoothes the rough cuticles that are responsible for frizzy flyaway hair. Silk Leave-in Conditioner is non-greasy curly hair product that never builds up, so you can use a generous amount against high humidity and high heat appliances such as irons & blow-dryers. Silk Leave-in Conditioner leaves your hair feeling clean, shiny and soft.

Directions for use:  Apply Silk Leave-in Conditioner to clean wet hair from roots to ends for an even application. DO NOT RINSE OUT. For very frizzy hair or high humidity use additional product. Follow with Curly Hair Solutions™ styling products.

So far I have been liking this product, and have used it several times.  My main thing is to start with just a little bit of product, as a little goes a long way.  I overdid it once, and my hair felt sticky and, well, gross.  So be careful of that.  If you use the correct amount of product though your hair does look sleek and healthy.  Especially when using my flat iron!

Price: $18.00 for and 8oz bottle

Where To Buy: Frizz Off Website

While I really liked the feel of this, I didn’t feel it was all that different in comparison to some drugstore leave in conditioners I’ve tried, which are a fraction of the price.  Because I’m in a rush sometimes in the morning, I have to be careful not to accidentally apply too much, or else my hair will be a sticky mess.
