Cult Nails Iconic Review and Swatches

A few weeks back I kept hearing about Cult Nails Nail Lacquer and got curious.  I went poking around online and found Cult Nails on Facebook and started glancing at pictures that fans were posting and I decided I needed some RIGHT NOW!  I received my order about a week ago and honestly it took me a bit to use them because I couldn’t decide on which color I wanted to use, and over the last week I’ve gotten a few packages of goodies.  I’m kicking myself for not swatching Iconic the day I got the order!

Cult Nails Iconic nail lacquer is a gorgeous berry red creme with red flakies AND gold shimmer suspended in the polish.  This isn’t a sparkly “blingy” color but the subtlety of  the flakes and shimmer is really lovely.  Looking at Iconic in the bottle really doesn’t do this color justice.  I’ll be honest, when I first saw Iconic in the bottle I was a little pouty – it wasn’t the red I had hoped for and it looked cloudy and not very vibrant.  It goes on a MUCH better color than what you see in the bottle though, which I was VERY happy to see!  This is an amazing Valentine’s Day polish!  Application was really good on Iconic, I used 2 coats to get to the level of opacity I wanted, no streaks or brush lines at all!  I used Poshe Fast Dry Top Coat to finish this mani up and I really am thrilled with the finished product!

Look at that gorgeous flakie and shimmer!  Really lovely!

Cult Nails Iconic is available on shop.cultnails.com and retails for $10.00.  Iconic is B3 and Camphor Free.

I love Cult Nails and I cannot recommend them enough. I will be weeping over the loss of clairvoyant/ unicorn puke forever lol. My only less than positive thing to say about them is their bottles. I think that the bottles do not allow the true color and beauty of the polishes. I know when I was ordering it was really hard to tell from the bottles and yes I searched for swatches to choose. But I know there were a couple I just though nope they don’t do anything for me and as I told you last Iconic was one of them. I think these polishes are so nice and good quality but I think the bottles may hold people back when purchasing. The polish itself great formula, great color and customer service is the best. I think they need to rethink the bottle though.

I am so sad I never got Unicorn Puke/Clairvoyant :( Their bottles really don’t do the colors justice at all! I wish they did because the colors I got are pretty phenomenal!
