I have a fairly lengthy and picture heavy post for you tonight – The Colors by Llarowe Summer 2016 Collection!

In total, Colors by Llarowe is releasing 16 shades on May 26th. 12 are part of the “main” Summer collection and 4 are in the Creme & Shimmer collection. I say this is a picture heavy post, and I mean it. Each shade has between 4-6 photos, depending on how many I needed to show the polish and it’s elements.

Let’s not waste any time and jump right in!

First I’ll show you the 4 Creme & Shimmer shades

Now let’s go a little more in depth

Colors by Llarowe – Creme Of The Crop

Creme of the Crop is a medium sea green crelly. It has a semi matte finish when it dries, so I used a top coat to make it glossy. It’s a touch darker in person than my photos show. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Colors by Llarowe – Love Me Some Blurple

Love Me Some Blurple is a purple toned blue crelly. It’s a tad more purple toned in person than my photos. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Colors by Llarowe – Hot Summer Nights

Hot Summer Nights is a blackened burgundy creme base with intense red shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for this vampy beauty.

Colors by Llarowe – Lotus

Lotus is absolutely GORGEOUS! This is a bright orchid pink crelly base with intense gold and pink shimmer mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Colors by Llarowe – Ahoy Matey!

Ahoy Matey! is described as a sometimes aqua blue, sometimes green jelly base packed with color shifting shimmer that goes from violet to copper to gold. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Colors by Llarowe -Annie Get Your Gun

Annie Get Your Gun is a continuously changing color scheme that includes shades of blue, green, gunmetal grey, purple with an added pink to purple to lavender sheen.  Tightly scattered glowing holographic with arcs of green, yellow, gold, turquoise and purple. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bam! is a Persian green intense linear holographic with a turquoise flame. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Colors by Llarowe – Fire Down Below

Fire Down Below is my kind of color! This is a light beige scattered holo packed with shimmer that shifts from copper to gold to red. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Colors by Llarowe – Fire To The Rain

Fire To The Rain is a bright cool toned candy apple red crelly loaded with shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Love this shade! It has the opacity of a crelly but the squishable look of a jelly.

Colors by Llarowe – Lisa’s Revenge

Lisa’s Revenge is a bright royal blue crelly loaded with shimmer. Much like Fire To The Rain, it has the opacity of a crelly, but the squish of a jelly. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Colors by Llarowe – Pool Partay!

Pool Partay! is a pool water blue/green intense linear holographic jelly with cool and light turquoise flashes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Prissy Little Thang! is a rosy pink intense linear holographic with a lavender flame. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Colors by Llarowe – Rendered Speechless

Rendered Speechless is a bright minty green packed with shimmer that shifts from copper to gold to pink. I found this to be a little on the thick side, and it didn’t self level. It wasn’t incredibly difficult to work with though. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Colors by Llarowe – Shiny Happy People

Shiny Happy People is a gorgeous periwinkle blue with a purple sheen and scattered holographic and contains intense shimmer that shifts pink to copper to green. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Colors by Llarowe – Stars at Night

Stars At Night is a grape purple crelly packed with shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Colors by Llarowe – Summer Lovin’

Summer Lovin’ is a hot magenta pink crelly holographic with holo flakes and iridescent micro shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

And I did a nail art look with 2 shades!

I used Love Me Some Blurple! as a base, then nail vinyls over it and Prissy Little Thang! over the vinyls! Loved the outcome!

Colors by Llarowe Summer 2016 Collection Overview

Wow – what a mix of colors and finishes! Overall, a great collection with a little something for everyone. The only shade I had some issues with was Rendered Speechless, and only because it didn’t self level for me and was slightly on the thick side. Aside from that though – the rest had great application. I love the use of shimmers and a lot of the shimmer shades had an “inner glow” to them.
