I have another Colors by Llarowe polish on the blog today to show you! So far I have tried 2 of Llarowe’s polishes (including today’s) and they were beautiful jellies.
Here is a little about the polish I am about to show you:
Montana is called Big Sky Country and has a special place in my heart as I lived there for several years and our son was born there. The sky in Montana at dusk is the most amazing blue and this polish is a tribute to that sky.
Let’s take a look at Montana Sky!
Montana Sky is a royal blue jelly base with iridescent shimmer and glitters mixed in. In person, this is a very squishy looking jelly! The iridescent glitters suspended throughout the polish is a beautiful touch! I used 2 coats and a coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze (I seriously cannot wait for this to be released! I’ve been using it on EVERYTHING).
This is definitely a polish that will get a lot of wear from me. Dry time was about on par with any jelly. The formula wasn’t runny at all but it also wasn’t super thick. The color is rich and I was able to reach the opacity you seen in the photos in just 2 coats and the glitter mixed in suspended nicely and there was a good mix of it!
I didn’t *need* to use a thick top coat for this polish by the way… I just decided to because it was the closest top coat to me (because I’ve been using it so much). With a regular top coat you would still get a smooth finish.
You can find Colors By Llarowe in the Llarowe Shop and they retail for $10.00
