Callio Fragrance is a new-to-me brand that graciously sent over 3 of their perfumes for me to review PLUS they offered a giveaway to one of my lucky readers!

I went through the Callio Fragrance site and it took me forever to settle on 3 fragrances – they all sounded amazing!  After what had to be an hour, I finally settled on 3 (there are 7 total) – I picked Summer, Kiele and Belle.  Lets go through each scent description and then we’ll move onto the giveaway!

Summer

Summer

Summer was my favorite of the 3 scents.   Summer is described as a blend of freesia, peach and cantaloupe.  I agree with the description and you can detect all 3 of these scents in the perfume plus a very faint hint of musk.  It’s definitely an interesting mix of scents but they work well together and it definitely reminds me of Summer.  As far as wear time, I got about 4 hours of wear from Summer, after 4 hours I could still smell it, but it was incredibly faint.

Kiele

Kiele

Kiele is Callio Fragrances most popular scent, and I can definitely see why!  Kiele is described as a fragrance with notes of jasmine, gardenia and tuberose.  Much like Summer, I could definitely detect all 3 notes within Kiele and it’s a fresh and floral scent without being overpowering.   But you do need to be a floral lover to appreciate this perfume. I have a feeling this will be my Spring time scent!  Wear time on Kiele was 6.5 hours.  Again, like Summer – I could still slightly smell Kiele on me after the 6.5 hours, but so faint it would not have been detected by others.

Belle

Belle

Belle is described as a sheer blend of white musk and powder with a touch of peony.  This is definitely a soft powdery scent and when I first applied it that’s all I could really smell.  Once it dried down I picked up on the peony and the hint of musk.  A very delicate blend and the softest of the 3 – the powder and peony mix is really nice!  Wear time was 6 hours.

Overview

Overall I’m very happy with the selection I made!  All 3 fragrances are very different from each other so I got a nice variety to try out.  My favorite is definitely Summer – the mix of peach and cantaloupe was sweet and then the added freesia balanced it nicely.  Wear time was pretty good.  I put down the time where I could still smell it on me without lifting my wrist directly under my nose, but all 3 I could still smell on my wrist up to 8 hours after application.  As I said earlier, Callio Fragrance does have 7 scents available in their shop, and I know there are a couple more I am eyeing – Willow will definitely be mine soon as well as Tessa.

  1. I’m sure I would pick Summer, too. I do like florals, but not overpowering ones. I couldn’t go with Belle, as I really don’t like powder scents. The fresh fruitiness of Summer sounds awesome, though! Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. I think I’d go with Belle. I always love white musk scents, plus the name just clinches it for me. ;) Thanks for hosting this!

I would choose Kiele if I win. Mainly because I cannot wear any scent that has musk in it at all or I can smell it on me and it gives me a head ache. Kiele was the only one of these three that did not have musk in it.

  4. I think I would choose Kiele! Thanks so much for the giveaway!
