butter LONDON Holiday 2012 Collection Swatches and Review Part 1
Good Evening! Tonight I have Part 1 of the butter LONDON Holiday 2012 Collection. I did break this up into 2 posts because I have a headache that’s killing me right now, so 3 swatches were all I could get done tonight.
For Part 1 I will be showing Scuppered, Jack The Lad and Scallywag! These 3 were GORGEOUS and butter LONDON definitely stepped up their game for this collection. I always liked their polish and can’t think of any I didn’t like at this point, but these 3 are in my top butter LONDON favorites already… and I own about 35 or so.
Moving onto the swatches!
Scuppered was the one I was most surprised about, so I’m kicking this post off with it! Scuppered is described as an opaque, copper shimmer with pink, gold, and green glitter. I used 2 coats for this mani and a top coat. This is Fall perfection! The quick flashes of green, pink and gold really make this just amazing!
Jack The Lad:
Jack the Lad is described as an opaque moss green shimmer with gold, turquoise, and green microglitter. This is just… beautiful. I really didn’t want to take it off. Deep green with flashes of gold and turquoise. I will be wearing this A LOT! I used 2 coats and a top coat!
Scallywag is the polish I knew I NEEDED in my life! Before I saw any swatches or anything, just the bottle shots, I was head over heels for this polish. Scallywag is described as a full coverage, bright turquoise glitter suspended in a clear base. This polish dries to a matte “sandy” look, which I wasn’t overly thrilled with. I like sparkle and pizzazz in my glitter polish, so I added 2 coats of top coat to smooth this mani out. I only needed 2 coats of Scallywag for complete coverage.
And there you have it! Part 1 of the butter LONDON Holiday 2012 Collection! I should have the remaining 3 polishes swatched (only 2 more are in this actual collection, but I also have Shambolic to show you). If you love butter LONDON and are a glitter fanatic like me, you need this collection!
You can find butter LONDON polishes on their website HERE and they retail for $14.00 each
Will you be picking up any butter LONDON’s from this collection?
