Astrida Naturals Apple & Papaya Fruit Face Mask Concentrate Review

by Lisa Heath

I have another review for you from Opensky.com!  If you missed my previous posts, Opensky.com is an online marketplace with loads of amazing products.  I have Astrida Naturals Apple & Papaya Fruit Face Mask to show you today.

Dry Face Mask

This is the first Dry Face mask Concentrate I have ever used.  Basically, this mask arrives in a dry powder like form and when it’s ready to be used, you take out 2-3 teaspoons of the concentrate and then mix it with water or toner (I used water) in a separate container and then apply to your face.  Because it’s in a concentrate form, it lasts much longer than other masks I’ve used.   A concentrated blend often means it’s 100% natural and preservative free as well!

Dry Face Mask open

I have been using this mask for a month now, about 2 times a week.  My pores are smaller, my skin has been brighter and tighter as well.  The scent isn’t too bad either.  Slightly earthy and the scent of apples is easily picked up.  It doesn’t have an overpowering scent though, for those who can’t deal with smells much.

Here it is on.  I mix 2 tablespoons with some water until it’s a spreadable consistency and then apply to my face.  It takes about 10 minutes to fully dry, and over that 10 minutes I can feel the slightest tingle and my skin tightening.  By the end of the 10 minutes my boyfriend tries to start long winded conversations with me just because he knows I cannot talk with it on.  At all.  If I try to, I will have a flaky mess all over my shirt.

When the 10 minutes is up, I wash the mask off with a warm, wet washcloth.  It’s fairly easy to remove and once it’s done I apply a little of my nightly moisturizer and I’m done.  I haven’t had any breakouts or bad reactions to this mask at all.

Astrida Naturals has a few other Face Mask Concentrates I’m looking to try now as well!  Like their Chamomile & White Willow Bar Face Mask which is good for acne prone skin.  I’m almost 32, but I do still suffer from some acne.  I wouldn’t mind giving this one a go and seeing if it helps!

Astrida Naturals Apple & Papaya Fruit Face Mask Ingredients:  Rhassoul Clay, Kaolin Clay, Apple Extract, Papaya Extract

Price:  $16.00 for a 2 oz jar

Where to Buy: OpenSky.com

Would I repurchase? :  Yes!

I have used plenty of face masks over time, and this one is effective and gentle.  I do have fairly sensitive skin, so I like that I can use it and not have red, angry skin afterwords from a rough mask.  I highly recommend Astrida Naturals Face Mask Concentrates!
