Trind Keratin Treatment Kit Review

One of the things I am asked a lot on my blog and in emails is “Are your nails real?”  Yes, they are.  For over 2 years now I have been using Trind products for nail care (namely the Trind Perfect System).  When I was asked to also review the Keratin Treatment Kit, of course I jumped on it.

I thought the best way to show the results was by showing my nail growth within a 3-4 week period of using Trind Keratin Treatment!

Before

This photo was taken on May 15th when I had a bad break and chopped my nails shorter than normal.  Best time to start photographing to show how it’s been working for me.

After

This photo was taken on June 13th.  These photos were taken almost 4 weeks later, and I actually filed them down twice in that time frame (not as much as the photo above, but filing just a little.)

What does the kit include?  It includes the Trind Nail Restorer as well as the Trind Nail Protector.  Below is what they are for:

Trind Nail Restorer

Trind Nail Restorer is a light semi transparent liquid and has to be applied on the nails daily. Let soak for two minutes and then rub-in the excess of product into the nail and surrounding skin.

Trind Nail Protector

In order to preserve the beneficial effects of Trind Keratin Nail Restorer, we created the Trind Keratin Nail Protector. This liquid product must also to be applied like a top coat. It keeps the “goodies” of the restorer within the nails and protects the nail against outside everyday influences from exposure to the environment. It also contains keratin and can be used as is, or as a base coat for colored nail polish.

While I still use my Trind Perfect System, I stopped use during this time period for the review.  I still love my Trind Perfect System and will continue to use it, but the Keratin Treatment set worked incredibly well and my nails are still strong as can be.

I’m probably jinxing myself, but I’ve only suffered ONE break this year so far (knock on wood) and that was right before I filed them down for the photo above.

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again – Trind is my nail lifesaver and while I use various cuticle oils and such from other brands, I will always keep Trind on hand because my nails are strong as can be and healthy!  Even though I put them through a beating with a nail blog!
