I have a new Vapid Lacquer release to share tonight! Before we get into it, this release happens the day after the Vapid Lacquer DAB preorder ends, so don’t miss out on that preorder – it will not be coming back!
So tonight we’re looking at the Vapid Lacquer June 2018 releases!
This is a simple release of just 3 polishes – but these polishes pack a punch!
This trio consists of flake filled jelly polishes! They are inspired by Summer, water and FUN! The names are a little … different. But they are unique and quirky.
Let’s jump right in – these release June 23rd, which is this Saturday.
At the end of each set of photos, I’ll also include a closeup of each shade with a matte top coat as well!
Octopsychedelia (I think I spelled that right…) is a warm purple jelly base packed with purple to green shifting aurora pigment and purple to green shifting iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Animal Crackers is a bright pink jelly base packed with scattered holographic and pink to gold to green shifting iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Calamari Ice Cubes
I can say with absolute certainty that I don’t want to know what actual calamari ice cubes taste like.
Calamari Ice Cubes is a bright cobalt blue jelly base with purple to blue to green shifting iridescent flakes and scattered holographic. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Vapid Lacquer June 2018 Releases
So I love jelly polishes and flakes – so I’m kinda loving these! I got great coverage in 3 thin coats and amazing flake distribution. Since these do have the iridescent flakes, they have a very light sulfur smell. It’s not overpowering, but a hint of it.
These are best applied in thinner coats because of the amount of flakes packed in. With thinner coats you get a more even spread of flakes.
Prices TBA. As usual, Krys will make an announcement with more release info soon in the Vapicorns Facebook Group so keep an eye out there for it.
Release Date: Saturday June 23rd (Time TBA)
Where To Buy: Vapid Lacquer Shop
So what do you think? Are you a flake filled jelly lover?
