Dove Self Esteem Project

Disclosure: Post sponsored by Mirum Shopper but all opinions are my own. Self esteem is one of those things in life that can feel difficult to hold onto or gain. For some it comes and goes, others have it and flaunt it, and some feel like they’ve never had it. For many of us, our self esteem is reflected by who we surrounded ourselves with at a young age. The smallest words can shatter that self esteem or it can build it up. I’m 36 years old now, but I still remember things people did or said, or even the things I said to myself when I was 15 that shattered my confidence. Some of those things took me years to get over.  I remember looking at photos like this (I’m the one on the left)  and back then I thought I looked chubby. What? I was around 102 lbs…

5 Beauty Essentials You Can Always Find At My House

Disclosure: Post sponsored by Mirum Shopper but all opinions are my own. Over my 7 years of blogging, you’ve all seen me mention products I’ve tried and enjoyed. Some I repurchased a time or two, others faded off and were replaced by the next new thing. Today though, we’re going to take a look at 5 beauty essentials you can always find at my house. These are products I’ve repurchased multiple times and basically need to have in my life. We all have those products that may not get much spotlight, but they are part of your every day life. It’s almost to a point that you forget how many bottles or containers you’ve used and it’s just automatic to get a new one when you hit the bottom of the container. Necessities, essentials, ride or die, holy grail… we all have a term for those products. Since we’re moving…

Staying Fresh & Active This Summer With Dove

Disclosure: Post sponsored by Mirum Shopper but all opinions are my own. This Summer has been crazy so far, and I cannot believe school is already about to start up again! While we didn’t get to travel as much as we wanted to, it was still pretty active.  Of course the more active you get, the more you depend on your antiperspirant to pull through – which is why I use Dove. Why has it been busy? My work office moved. We spent May and June packing up the old office and then the official move was the weekend after 4th of July. It was hot, sticky and we were all in close quarters. Definitely NOT the time to have your antiperspirant fail on you. Especially when you get to the new office and the air conditioning is BROKEN. That’s right. No air conditioning in July. Ick. This whole move…
