Happy Friday! I have the Starlight Polish Aurora Collection to share with you tonight, and these released today so you can grab them now!

Altogether there are 8 new top coats in this set and 2 are existing colors in the Mythological top coat set. The 8 new ones are split into 2 collections – The Aurora Top Coats and the Mythological Aurora Top Coats.

We’ll look a these by sets and then look at the 2 shades that were already released.

I’ll be showing all 10 of these shades over the same color base. Here it is:

Obsidian

Obsidian is a black creme with an incredibly subtle shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Aurora Top Coats

First up we’ll look at the 4 Aurora Top Coats! These contain color shifting iridescent glitters.

Aurora Australis

Aurora Australis is a clear base packed with glitters that shift from orange to yellow to green. I used 1 coat over Obsidian for these photos.

Aurora Australis is named after the Southern Lights

Aurora Borealis

Aurora Borealis is a clear base with glitters that shift from green to turquoise to blue.  I used 1 coat over Obsidian for these photos.

Aurora Borealis is named after the Northern Lights

Venusian Aurora

Venusian Aurora is a clear base with glitters that shift from green to light gold to blue and some glimpses of bronze.  I used 1 coat over Obsidian for these photos.

Venusian Aurora is named after Venus’s diffuse aurora effect (not concentrated at the poles, as Venus lacks magnetic poles), which is believed to be caused by solar flares, and looks green from Earth.

Jovian Aurora

Jovian Aurora is a clear based packed with glitters that shift from aqua to blue to royal blue and hints of violet.  I used 1 coat over Obsidian for these photos.

Jovian Aurora is named after the intense auroras of Jupiter, and the color choice inspired by images of Jupiter’s northern aurora from the Hubble in ultraviolet and the Chandra X-ray Observatory

Mythological Aurora Top Coats

The Mythological Aurora Top Coats have the same gorgeous shifty glitters as the Aurora Top Coats, but also contain shifting  shimmer.

Phoenix Aurora

Phoenix Aurora contains iridescent glitter that shifts from orange to yellow to green, and shimmer that shifts from red to gold to green. I used 1 coat over Obsidian for these photos.

Dragon Aurora

Dragon Aurora is a clear base with glitters that shift from green to blue to gold and shimmer that shifts from  bronze to gold to green. I used 1 coat over Obsidian for these photos.

Unicorn Aurora

Unicorn Aurora is a clear base with glitters that shift from green to turquoise to blue  and shimmer that shifts from green to blue to royal blue. I used 1 coat over Obsidian for these photos.

Kelpie Aurora

Kelpie Aurora is a clear base packed with glitters that shift from aqua to blue to violet and shimmer that shifts from aqua to blue to violet. I used 1 coat over Obsidian for these photos.

Kelpie & Kelpie Song

Both of these shades are existing shades in the Mythological Top Coats.

Kelpie

Kelpie is a shimmer shifting topper that shifts from green to aqua to blue to violet at extreme angles. I used 1 coat over Obsidian for these photos.

Kelpie Song

Kelpie Song is a shimmer shifting topper that shifts from green to aqua to blue to violet at extreme angles, with the addition of holo! This is the holographic version of Kelpie. I used 1 coat over Obsidian for these photos.

Starlight Polish Aurora Collection Overview

I am LOVING these shifting toppers! I think my favorites are the Mythological Aurora toppers because I like the color shifts of the glitters against the shifting shimmers. The various colors with both combined are simply stunning!

I had no application issues, and all 10 toppers had great application in just 1 coat.
