Starlight Polish Phantasmal Collection

Press Sample of the Starlight PolishPhantasmal Collection Happy Wednesday! I actually had to double check what day it actually was because time is flying by! Tonight we’re taking a look at the Starlight Polish Phantasmal Collection! The Starlight Polish Phantasmal Collection is a new addition to the Mythological Collection! Every so often Issa of Starlight Polish adds a new group of polishes to it, and now we have 11 new shades!  The Mythological Collection is a variety of mainly top coats (there are some with colored bases) that fall into the ‘unicorn pee’ pigments and sister pigments category.  This release introduces Phantom to the Mythological collection. Phantom is a sister unicorn pee pigment that shifts from blue to violet to purple. Let’s jump in and take a look. For 10 of these (the toppers) I used Starlight Polish Obsidian as the base color, which is a one coat black creme that dries…

Starlight Polish Mythological Opal Collection

Press Sample of the Starlight Polish Mythological Opal Collection I’m still playing catch up – and next up tonight we’re going to take a look at the Starlight Polish Mythological Opal Collection! We’ve seen several installations of Starlight Polish’s Mythological series – and this is an amazing addition! These 5 shades are densely packed toppers with various aurora shimmers and matching iridescent flakes. For all 5 of these shades I used Starlight Polish Obsidian as a base coat. It’s an incredible 1 coat black creme that dries down to a satin like finish. Let’s jump right into the newest Starlight Polish additions! Phoenix Opal Phoenix Opal is a topper with red to green shifting aurora flakes and the same red to green shifting unicorn pee pigment. I used 1 coat over Obsidian and a glossy top coat for these photos. Dragon Opal Dragon Opal is an effects top coat with gold…

Starlight Polish Mythological Gems

Press Sample Hello hello! I had so many blog plans for this weekend, but other projects and a lot of weekend running around got in the way. I meant to have this post up last night as well – but again, things just don’t go as planned. So tonight I have the Starlight Polish Mythological Gems to share with you I know these all look alike above – but if you are familiar with the Starlight Polish Mythological collection – you already know why. I have covered previous releases before, so this isn’t entirely new to my blog. If you aren’t aware – the Mythological line by Starlight Polish is kind of an ever evolving line.  I think some of the first I received were just top coats with the various color shifting shimmers added in and you could go crazy and add them over any polish you’d like (you still…

Starlight Polish Winter Holodays Collection

Press Sample I have a super holo filled post to share with you this morning. Starlight Polish is rereleasing their holiday collection and it has 14 holos for your enjoyment! Here is Starlight Polish Winter Holodays Collection! This collection is live now in the shop, so you can start shopping asap. There are 14 polishes total, 12 are solid holographics, 1 is a top coat and 1 can be both a top coat or a solid color holographic.  I hope that made sense? I haven’t had coffee and I’m borderline hangry so … thinking isn’t my strong suit at the moment. Okay so this is a fairly picture heavy post. We have 14 polishes to look through, so let’s get this going! Poinsettia Poinsettia is a cool pink toned red linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Holly Berry Holly Berry is a warm…

Starlight Polish Mythological Night & New Chimera Line

Press Sample A few months back I did a review for Starlight Polish and showed some of the Aurora and Mythological Aurora top coats. All of these shades are named after mythological creatures (Dragon, Phoenix, etc) and Starlight Polish has since expanded on this line! So tonight, I’ll be sharing the Mythological Night collection, as well as the new addition to the Mythological line up – Chimera! This is going to be a rather long post, as you can see from the above collage. So grab a drink, have a seat and let’s look over this shimmery goodness! If you want to revisit my previous post – please do! Just a quick overview though – The original 4 Mythological Creatures are: Phoenix, Dragon, Unicorn and Kelpie. Previously they were available in a couple finishes: Song (holographic), Aurora (with added iridescent color shifting glitters), and original (just the color shifting pigment)…
