By now we all know how much I love my monthly subscriptions. I currently have 4 for myself, my son has 2 (both gifts from me, I renew his every subs every Christmas and Birthday) and my boyfriend has 2. We get a lot of boxes delivered here monthly.  While theirs are primarily game related, mine are all beauty related. One of my favorites though? Scentbird Perfume Monthly Subscription!

I’ve been a subscriber of Scentbird now for 22 months  (I am actually queued up to receive Lalique Fleur de Cristal this month!) and I love being able to try fragrances that I wouldn’t generally buy for myself due to price, or just not being sure how much I’ll love it.  Of the 21 perfumes I’ve already received as a member of the subscription, 16 I ended up loving and 5 I gave to friends because they just weren’t for me. I’ve tried perfumes that are fairly expensive, but I’ve also gotten some I tried in the past and loved and just wanted another bottle of.

*Malin + Goetz Dark Rum and Cartier Eau de Cartier Essense de Bois were purchased by me through my personal Scentbird subscription, Nateeva Jamaica was provided for review*

Ok so how does it work? You sign up on the Scentbird website and take a quiz to get an idea of what kind of scents you prefer. Once completed, Scentbird makes recommendations they feel best fits your profile. Then you fill up your fragrance queue. You can select fragrances from your recommendations, or you can search through and find other fragrances you want to try that veer off from your normal tastes.

Your initial purchase will arrive in a black velvet like bag as well as a fragrance case. This is the only time you’ll receive a fragrance case, but they do have more on their site if you wish to buy more. I currently have 4, one I received with my initial order, two I bought, and one with this review. I keep all of my fragrances in a clear storage box I also bought from the Scentbird site, and when I want to swap, I grab a new one and pop it in the case.

A little hard to see, but above is my current queue and I’m all set through May of 2018. I’m not locked in though, I can change them whenever I want! As long as they aren’t prepping for shipping of course. Each month the  glass spray vial arrives in a cardboard tube, which is shown below. Each vial is approximately a 30 day supply.

Scentbird sent me Jamaica by Nateeva to try out for this review. I selected it because I hadn’t tried this brand at all, but I’m glad I did.

Jamaica by Nateeva features juicy mandarin, plumeria blossoms, vanilla crystals, sheer vetiver and white musk.  The scent is fairly mellow but tropical and sophisticated. I’m actually considering adding it into my queue again so I don’t run out! It lasted all day too, which really impressed me.

Scentbird Perfume Monthly Subscription Overview

Scentbird Perfume Monthly Subscription

Since I’ve been a Scentbird  subscriber for 22 months now, it’s fairly safe to say I love it. I typically swap fragrance regularly and never have a locked down, signature scent, so getting new fragrances monthly is perfect for me. I have bottles and bottles that get rotated out on my vanity table and will probably never get completely used up. This way I’m not tossing money at large bottles, instead I get smaller spray vials with a larger variety of scents to pick from.

If you happen to get a scent you can’t live without, or someone in your life loved it and you want to get it for them as a gift, you can also purchase the full size bottle, or another sample size from Scentbird to give as a gift.

Price: $14.95 per Month

Where To Buy: Scentbird  Website

Why not give it a try?  You have the chance to try hundreds of designer and niche brand perfumes without committing to a full bottle for just $14.95/month!

Have you tried Scentbird? I’d love to hear your thoughts and whether this is a subscription for you!

I used to get this subscription box and loved it! I never use up a whole bottle of perfume so this was perfect for me and perfect for travel too!

I should really consider getting this subscription because I wear fragrances all of the time!

A subscriber of mine told me about scentbird, so when I run out of my full size bottle of Malin+Goetz dark rum, I’ll be picking up from SB because I don’t have no $150 to spend again on it. Plus – they last me a long time so I’m looking forward to it. I see I’m not the only Dark Rum lover ;)

If I wore fragrance this would be perfect for me. That way I’d constantly get to try something new with just a small money output. I think it’s a great subscription.

I’ve been a subscriber for several years, and I have found a couple of scents I love thru Scentbird. I am not usually a fan of mainstream scents, however, and I wish they would branch out a little more and have some higher end and more unusual fragrances

I really need to sign up for this subscription. I’ve been going a little fragrance nuts, lately. I think I need a monthly obsession.
