Protect Your Lips This Winter With Herpecin L

Several months ago I took my son to the store to purchase even more lip balm for him. He has severely chapped lips and no matter what we tried, it didn’t seem to help. If he forgets his lip balm at home, by the time I pick him up from school his lips are often chapped, cracked and have a rosy red ring around them. I asked someone at the store what they recommend, and was a little surprised when they suggested Herpecin L.

Why was I surprised? I had always associated Herpecin L as being the product to use for cold sores.  If we didn’t have cold sores,  why would we need it?

It turns out, Herpecin L isn’t just the best cold sore remedy on the market, it’s also amazing to relieve dry, chapped lips. I bought a tube for my son because he needed something and other balms just weren’t cutting it for him. We’ve never looked back. In fact it worked so well for him, I ended up using it as well!

Herpecin L is a little jewel that’s been flying under the radar for awhile. I think a lot had my same mindset when it came to it. No cold sores, so why would I buy it? I was so wrong. Herpecin L is an everyday lip treatment that contains sunscreen to protect your lips even further. Herpecin L promotes healing without numbing too. When it’s applied, it literally feels like a normal balm, but it makes your lips feel smoother, and after a few days of using it, your chapped lips are a thing of the past.

If you happen to be one of the 50-80% of US adults who have oral herpes, Herpecin L is even better for you. And yes, that large of a percentage of US adults have it. It’s an incredibly common infection in the mouth area that is caused by herpes simplex virus type 1. According to the National Institute of Health, 90 percent of adults have been exposed to the virus by age 50. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. While I’ve personally never had a cold sore or fever blister – it doesn’t mean I won’t in my lifetime. But when and if I am exposed to it, I already know how to combat it.

Since discovering how well Herpecin L works on both my sons chapped lips and my own, I keep a tube on me everywhere I go. It’s more hydrating than other lip treatments I’ve used, contains SPF so our lips don’t get sunburned (those hurt!) plus it offers relief and speedier recovery time from cold sores, should you have them.

You can find this little lip gem in your local Walmart.  Next time you stop in, grab a tube and give it a try. Your lips will thank you, especially during the chillier seasons when chapped lips are much more common!

Thanks! I have a hard time keeping from chapped lips in winter, so I’ll look for that. I’m glad you found something that works for your son. :)

My lips get very chapped in the winter time. I do not leave how without some sort of balm for my lips. I haven’t heard of this brand before so I will look into it next time I’m at the store.

They’ve been around for awhile, but I don’t often see coverage about them outside of cold sore advertisements. It’s a really good lip treatment though.

I need to pick this up. I always get dry and chapped lips during the winter, and it can get painful.

Last year my lips were cracking from being so chapped. I also like my matte lipsticks which can make the dryness even worse

I’ve been lucky. I’ve never had a cold sore in my life. However, it is great that this product is out there for people who have to deal with this.

I’ve never had a cold sore either, which is why I never bought this sooner! But my chapped lips kill me at times, so I’m glad I know now that it works so well!

I have used this stuff regularly. It works really well especially on cold sores. I never really thought about using it for lip balm. I could definitely use it just because my lips are always so dry in the winter.

I think that’s what a lot of people thought too! To only use it for cold sores! I had no idea it had daily benefits

It constantly amazes me when new products come across my screen. I’ve never heard of Herpecin L. Sounds like it really does a great job on chapped lips among other things.

This is something I’m going to try. Lots of the chapsticks out there don’t help at all. I did find one out of goat milk that was good, but they were all flavored so I ended up licking my lips more.

My oldest daughter gets cold sores sometimes, I will have to pick some of this up for her. I love that it isn’t just for cold sores too so anyone can use it.

My son started getting the occasional cold sore shortly after entering kindergarten, this is a good idea to have on hand for him. Unfortunately, he gave me a kiss a couple of weeks ago not realizing he was in the beginning stage of getting one, and I got one too. However, mineral oil and petrolatum make my skin painfully dry and cracked, so this is a no go for me.

I have never tried this brand but I always have a stack of lip balm whatever season it is. My lips gets so dry if I don’t use one.

This seems like just what I need this winter. Living in the desert I suffer from chapped lips 24/7. Going to pick up some today at WalMart.
