Polish Pickup December 2023 | Maker’s Choice

Here it is… the final post for Polish Pickup 2023! For December our theme is Maker’s Choice and I have several offerings to share!
Okay so Maker’s Choice is pretty much the new set theme for December. In general – December is a slightly more low key month and several makers take the month off from Polish Pickup to focus on Black Friday sales and such. It just made more sense to give them more creative freedom for the final month of the year.
As usual – you can check it all out on my YouTube channel – I swatch each polish, show their special effect (if any) and sort of demo each product so you can see the consistency or how it is used
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I did Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased). For all textured polishes, I did use Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber (PR) and Monarch Lacquer top coat over it. For matte photos I used Anchor & Heart Lacquer Sea Glass (Gifted and Purchased by me)
For my lighting set up I use artificial lighting due to my day job, my set up involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
For my nails – they are Apres Gel X nails throughout this post, and the style is Extra Short Stiletto.

Inspiration: Inspired by the bird, the Lilac Breasted Roller, a compliment to the Birds of a Feather Collection, part 2 launching on December 15th at alchemylacquers.com.

My #1 is Party Down by Red Eyed Lacquer. I also love the Cuticula Away We Glow! I’m trying to keep it to three this month, so I’m debating between DRK Pure Joy and Lemming Euphoric Embers. Actually, the Kathleen and Co is my fave, but it’s a near perfect dupe for LynBDesigns Onism, which I already own.

Lumen and DRK Nails are tied as my #1’s. They captured my glittery, glowy-loving heart! The Christmas ones like Hearts & Promises and By Dany Vianna are also super cute. Oh, and Atomic…whew! what a stunning red.

The Monarch Snowball Frenzy is at the top of my list, especially after seeing it on black. I had a similar polish and destroyed it with acetone by mistake.
