May 2019 Polish Pickup | 1980’s

Press Sample of the May 2019Polish Pickup 1980’s This is my biggest Polish/Indie Pickup review to date, minus the times I was the official Blogger of the Month. Right now I have 71 items to share for the May 2019 Polish Pickup 1980’s theme! My USPS console just showed that I have 9 packages being delivered tomorrow – and I think 1 more PPU item is in there (that I know of) so I’ll be adding what that one (Delush Polish) tomorrow when it arrives. My tax season ended April 15th, so most of these photos took place between the 16th and this morning. Luckily from now on I should be a little more ahead without the extra work hours and days. Okay so the theme this month is 1980’s! I was born in 1982 and even though I have momnesia and my memory isn’t as sharp since I had…

April 2019 Polish Pickup | Famous Works of Art

Press Samples for April 2019Polish Pickup | Famous Works of Art This month has been an incredibly stressful month, and I almost thought this April 2019 Polish Pickup Famous Works of Art post would be right up against the deadline, but somehow I pulled through. Of the 18 tax seasons I’ve been through (12 with my current employer) this has been the most stressful. This isn’t entirely due to tax season itself though. With Polish Pickup, Polish Con coming up, Tax Season and 7th grade projects that were due this month, I was totally freaking out that things would slip. So far though, I’ve been working lots of overtime (only Sundays off so far this month..) we’ve successfully completed 5 large projects for Jacob, and while my swatching is a bit behind – overall I am doing an okay job of keeping up with that. 2 more weeks though and…

March 2019 Polish Pickup | Album Covers

Press Samples for March 2019Polish Pickup | Album Covers Where did February go? I know it’s a shorter month, but it flew by. I spent the last week sick, so this is going up a few days later than I planned. I’m starting to work on this on a Sunday night, but it most likely won’t be live until Monday night… but here’s the March 2019 Polish Pickup Album Covers post from me! This month is a whopper. I have 66 items to share with you. 9 are part of Indie Pickup and 57 are for Polish Pickup. I won’t lie, this was a rough month. Not because of the amount of items I received, but because it’s a shorter month – and I was sick for 9 days. It’s still lingering, but I’m more functional. Due to being sick, all thermals I had this month are only photographed in…

February 2019 Polish Pickup | Duos & Pairs

Press Sample of the February 2019Polish Pickup | Duos & Pairs It’s that time again! Polish Pickup is almost upon us and I have another jam packed post to share! Here we will be looking at the February 2019 Polish Pickup with the theme Duos & Pairs! I’m going to start by saying that this was quite possibly the most complicated theme we’ve seen to date. If you’re a regular reader, you know I’ve been covering 40 items a month (on average) since January of 2018 – and probably 12 a month before January of 2018. I’ve seen a lot of themes. While it is a fun theme, there are various interpretations the makers had freedom with. Makers had the option of pairing up with another maker to create shades that went together in some way. They could make a polish/item for one of the Pickups and have the “pair”…

January 2019 Polish Pickup | Mythology

Press Sample of the January 2019 Polish Pickup | Mythology It’s officially been 1 year since my debut as Blogger of the Month for the Polish Pickup – and in the year since, I’ve had the opportunity of working with so many incredible makers and have consistently had the privilege of showing 35+ Polish Pickup shades each month. It’s been an incredible year, and with the beginning of 2019 – I can only hope to continue that. Today I have the January 2019 Polish Pickup Mythology to share! I have 47 products to share today and I do believe this is everything. As far as I am aware, nothing is in transit as the final 3 arrived last night. Fair warning, this will be photo heavy. 47 polishes, about 4-6 photos per polish. If you are here to look at a specific shade (and you’re on desktop) go ahead and…
