Today I have the Pahlish May 2017 Releases to share with you! These JUST released on the Pahlish site, so you can grab yours now!

The Pahlish May 2017 releases are 4 smaller collections bundled into 1 fabulous release. We have a Doctor… Who? four piece collection, a By The Sea Trio, Summer Creams Trio and Summer Escapes Collection.

Since I’m running a bit behind, we’ll just jump right into the swatches! I’m dividing the post up into the various collection groups as well!

Pahlish Doctor… Who? Collection

Magician’s Apprentice

Magician’s Apprentice is a red leaning coral crelly base with soft red shimmer and purple/violet ultrachrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Don’t Blink

Don’t Blink is a gunmetal foil base with multicolored shifting flakes mixed in. The flakes aren’t packed in, but you get glimmers of color popping through the gunmetal base throughout.

I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Time Vortex

Time Vortex is a TARDIS blue foil base with holo flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pompadour

Pompadour is a warm toned lavender greige crelly base with copper and red shimmer as well as silver holographic flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

By The Sea Trio

Kiddie Pool

Kiddie Pool is a medium teal jelly base with holo flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Seaside

Seaside is an ultamarine blue creme base with silver holographic flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ready Or Yacht

Ready or Yacht is a white cream base with a very subtle violet shimmer as well as an assortment of ultrachrome flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I really loved this one, but a small part of me wishes it was a crelly white base so the colors of the UCC flakes could shine through just a touch more.

Summer Creams Trio

Lemon Bee

Lemon Bee is a pastel neon yellow cream. I really loved this shade and it’s much brighter in person, but I did find the formula a bit on the thick side. The first 2 coats were slightly patchy (nature of the beast with pastel like shades) so I needed 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Fairy Lights

Fairy Lights is a bright robin’s egg blue cream. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The first coat was slightly streaky, but the second coat evened it out beautifully.

Sugar Bloom

Sugar Bloom is an almost pastel like lavender cream. This isn’t a full on pastel, but it’s halfway there. Very delicate and incredibly soft and lovely.

I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. I did have minor self leveling issues with application.

Pahlish Summer Escapes

Reverie

Reverie is a juicy purple jelly base with a rainbow assortment of ultrachrome flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Islands In The Sky

Islands In The Sky is a blurple jelly base with matte and metallic teal glitters in hexes, squares and dot glitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The jelly base for this polish is incredibly pigmented and reached almost full opacity in just  2 coats.

Sharp and Tart

Sharp and Tart is a cherry red foil polish. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ember

Ember is a warm coppery red linear holographic with added copper shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Primadonna

Primadonna is a blue toned violet purple linear holographic with added blue shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Electra Heart

Electra Heart is an intense strawberry red jelly base with holographic flakes and pink to copper shimmer mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pahlish May 2017 Releases Overview

What a whopper of a release! 16 gorgeous polishes in just one launch. As far as application goes, Lemon Bee and Sugar Bloom had slight issues, Lemon Bee more so than Sugar Bloom. Aside from that, the rest of the polishes applied extremely well.

My top picks from this 16 piece collection are:

Kiddie Pool, Seaside, Ready or Yacht, Electra Heart, Time Vortex, Don’t Blink and Lemon Bee (despite application issues, I found the color fun and appealing)
